"Hate them"
I purchased thermafoil cabinets years ago and hate them. They are peeling off and worse, are irreplaceable. I have to redo my entire kitchen and while I only need a couple doors and drawer fronts, it will be so expensive to replace all the drawers and cabinets. These cabinets were not cheap but feel cheap now.

"My new Wellborn cabinets"
I saw your family on the Huckabee show. First of all I was impressed that you run a Christian company. I know God has truly blessed you because you treat your employees with respect & extra benefits' like day care & exercise room. If your employees are happy they will work that much harder, I know from experience. I said this to say that mold was found in my kitchen and the company who did the work from start to finish had to remove all my cabinets . Consequently, I was able to pick out new cabinets & the company brought me samples to pick from. I am very happy with my new cabinets and much more so knowing that a Christian company made them. I will be passing this word onto all my friends. Thank you so much for your Christian testimony. God will bless you.

"Very unsatisfied"
I have a large kitchen with 60 cabinet doors from Wellborn. The cabinets were white when I bought them and now they are yellow... The rest of the paint and woodwork around them is still white. They look terrible! My builder said the company wouldn't do anything about it....

"Buyer Beware"
The cabinets are beautiful however buyer beware on off-white cabinets. Blue stains started coming through. Had several replaced. Now Wellborn is saying is is a user issue and not their paint however neighbors with the same cabinets who cook very frequently never have blue streaks. Several other neighbors who built like myself in 2015 or after got the blue streaks and now the supplier is claiming it is not their issue. Note: Cabinets purchased prior 2015 in off-white are not having these issues.

"Do Not Buy These Cabinets"
We bought these cabinets in 2011. They are supposed to have a 10 yr. warranty. We cannot get the designer to do anything and we cant get a dealer because we did not buy them from a dealer, our designer bought them. I will file with Consumer Protection Agency and ago Alabama gov as suggested. All these people are telling the truth. Something needs to be done. I am not going to give up. Made in America, what a joke!

"Buyer beware!"
Built a new home (March, 2018) and installed espresso colored Wellborn cabinets. Edges of doors and drawers looked to have a dull residue on them. Were told it was due to the grain of the wood and would not replace any of the door fronts. Extremely dissatisfied. Poor quality. No customer service. Looks like we are stuck with these shoddy cabinets. Grrrrr.

"White Laminate"
We bought our home in 1998 with Imperial style white laminated cabinets. With in few years lamination start peeling. We fixed with taped and sometime with glue. It start getting very bad now. After talking to my nephew he work for Wellborn cabinets competitor. They warranty their product for lifetime for delamination. I contacted Wellborn and I was told that our hold only one year warranty. What kind of company is this that make cheap product that last only one year. I would certainly not recommend this company to anyone for their cabinets needs.

We did a complete remodel 1 year ago. The cabinets horizontal interior surfaces have already started to bubble up due to the press board deteriorating because of poor moisture resistance. We got the white painted exterior finish, and the finish in some of the high-use areas (like the garbage can cabinet) has started to wear off. The hinges are high quality, European style. The drawer slides and drawer sides seem to be high quality as well. The design of the cabinets do not make use of space well, and there is way too much wasted space in our kitchen due to the design of the cabinets. There are better quality cabinets out there at similar price, but if I was to do it again with Wellborne, I would definitely spring for all plywood construction

Great service from Wellborn Cabinets! I am a property manager for houses in Florida. An older cabinet door was damaged by hurricane Irma in one of our houses. Dawn, the company service rep helped me immediately with identification of the product, color and is sending the new door within 2 weeks. I thought this would be like finding a needle in a haystack, but what a surprise. This company is awesome and so nice.

"Very dissatisfied"
Had totally new $75k kitchen installed last spring (2014). Bought gorgeous Wellborn cabinets, approx $20k worth. As winter approached, we began to notice on the front panels of five doors an edge with no stain along the inset front panel bordering the trim pieces. These were a full 1/8" and were very obvious. The contractor's installation was not the issue. The contractor contacted the distributor who contacted Wellborn. Wellborn says they "have a tolerance" and ours are within that tolerance. I'm confident that there's not one person at Wellborn who would accept what we're seeing in their own home. The distributor and the contractor are going to try to do a repair with stain. I'm not optimistic. Anyone considering Wellborn as a supplier of their kitchen cabinets should really be wary of Wellborn's poor response to our problem and all the other problems mentioned in these reviews. I would suggest avoiding Wellborn all together. Anyone who would like me to email a photo, just let me know.

"Dissappointed"
In 1997 we purchased wellborn for our kitchen and never were happy with cabinets. They never held up & didn't abuse them. Due to a fire we ended up having to rebuild & the contractor's supplier told us that Wellborn was a lot better. We decided to try again with them. Well overall the construction was ok (higher quality than '97) but in the end they are not that great for the money! Our drawers don't line up well, they have little rubber stoppers that fell off within a year (no biggie but tells you of material used) & some of face wood is out of line. I hope to never have to purchase or re-do our home again but in the future would just buy something off the floor at Lowes and not pay extra. I won't use Wellborn again

"Great quality USA Made"
These guys have a high quality product with low manufacture defects. In fact, they have less than 1% of their products returned do to manufacturing issues, thats amazing! You can get everything from inexpensive contractor grade up to high end semi custom. Can never go wrong with Wellborn, its unfortunate the bad reviews here, but obvious you never know the real story behind the complaints. Anyway, their track record speaks for itself, don't be fooled by negative reviews.

"Hurt by Wellborn"
This is a revision. Sorry Wellborn, I know you are not intentionally hurting people and not intentionally ripping us off. I wanted to buy and support American businesses. Unfortunately the quality of your cabniets seems so poor. We are on our 4th reorder because of quality issues and you have delayed this project by 6 weeks. We have lived 6 additional weeks and counting without a kitchen because of poor quality control. There appears to be many reviewers stating the same. What is going on? As Americans seeking to support American businesses I feel we deserved better. We worked so hard to save for our kitchen and feel let down by the quality we received.

"Paint Flaking off on cabinets"
Just like many of the other reviewers here, we are having issues with our Wellborn cabinets installed by Kastle Lake Kitchens in Acworth, GA. Our home is in Roswell, I'd be happy to take pictures of the paint which is orange peeling and flaking off the bottom of each of the 3 drawers under the cooktop. We paid over $22K for these cabinets installed in our kitchen and were assured of the high quality and American made Wellborn cabinets. Now, about 3 years later, they are flaking so badly they must be replaced entirely, as Wellborn doesnt apparently repaint. This is an obvious manufacturing defect which neither Wellborn nor Kastle Lake Kitchens in Acworth, GA is willing to accept any sort of responsibility for. I guess I will need to take these apart, sand them myself, and hope I can color match the bottoms of the drawer faces myself. We are renovating our basement next, guess whos cabinets I will not be using! Very dissatisfied customer. I will update this review if Wellborn and/or Kastle Lake makes this right. Paul Roswell, GA

"Shame on Wellborn"
An American Company ripping off their fellow Americans. The bad reviews are accurate. We too have encountered numerous factory flaws. We have had to reorder boxes , panels , trim and doors three times and still are not complete. Our project has been delayed waiting for these reordered parts and when they come in they are still substandard quality. 3 refrigerator panels reordered and all with factory flaws. Now waiting for a 4th. There are obviously serious problems at Wellborn. Can't say anything good. Their factory rep even came to our home and could do nothing because of the factory problems. Ever again Wellborn.

"Great Cabinets and Service"
Have been very impressed with the quality of the cabinets especially the pull out drawers with the soft close feature. Wellborn's post-sale service has been great. Our dealer had gone out of business shortly after we took delivery. Wellborn helped answered all of our questions and even shipped us replacement hinges to correct an issue with our order.

"Great Cabinets and even better customer service!"
I placed an order with a local store, which then placed the cabinet order with Wellborn. Somehow in that transaction, the decorative doors were missing from my order when I received it. The customer service team at Wellborn answered my initial call and has been responsive throughout the entire process of figuring this out. The Wellborn team even went to the extent of giving my door to me at no cost! And above this, the quality of the cabinets is exceptional. I am very pleased with the detail and color. They are exactly as expected! Overall, a PLUS PLUS experience!

"Disappointed doesn't even come close"
We bought Chelsey style cabinets for our kitchen remodel in Bleu. Purchased them through an authorized Wellborn dealer. 7 out of 12 cabinets have paint and construction issues that could not possibly be caused by any other issue than manufacturing. Unfortunately, Wellborn won't communicate with us at all - no one at the home office and not even the regional rep who communicates with our authorized dealer has yet to call us. Instead of addressing our concerns and making the product right (not to mention helping us get around another four week delay to have the cabinets remade), Wellborn is making the authorized dealer responsible. The dealer didn't send us cabinets with glue leaking out in view at corners, the dealer didn't send us cabinets with paint finish issues, it was Wellborn who is responsible and yet we can't get anyone to talk with us. At this point, we are dead in the water on our kitchen remodel - and that is because of Wellborn. Instead of helping a customer who has paid in full for Premiere cabinets, we are trying to figure out how to have our contractors and the authorized dealer help us find ways to fix a poorly made product. We are not happy as you can tell - and all it would take is some reasonable customer service. So all that to say - don't buy Wellborn - they don't stand behind their product. Unbelievable
