Mill's Pride Kitchen Cabinets
Summary
Mill's Pride was a cabinet manufacturer owned by Masco, which also owns Kraftmaid. The Mill's Pride products were a lower-cost line than the Kraftmaid line. The products available include a pre-assembled line (known as "Distinctions" in the US and "Four Seasons" in Canada) and a do-it-yourself line of cabinets known as "RTA" (ready-to-assemble). Masco continues to manufacture the "Distinctions" line of cabinets, but has permanently discontinued the "Mill's Pride" line.
Where to Buy Mill's Pride Cabinets
The Mill's Pride line of cabinetry has been permanently discontinued, and according to their customer service department, these cabinets can no longer be purchased from the original Mill's Pride company which has gone out of business. A new cabinet company, called "Mill's Pride Kitchens" has purchased their stock of Bianco, Fairfield, Hartford, Sherwood, Windsor styles. This new company is not associated with the original Mill's Pride.
If you are looking to replace just a few cabinet doors or drawers, you will likely need to have them custom made to match the rest of your cabinets or purchase replacements from Mill's Pride Kitchens. The original Mill's Pride told us that none of the styles and colors of the "Distinctions" line (which is still carried by Home Depot) exactly match the older Mill's Pride lines.
History
Mill's Pride, which was headquartered in Middlefield, Ohio, began manufacturing low-cost do-it-yourself cabinets in the 1980s. The Masco Corporation of Taylor, Michigan purchased Mill's Pride in 1999.

Warranty
Mill's Pride cabinets came with limited lifetime warranties for defects in materials or workmanship for the original owner. Even though the line is discontinued, Masco may still honor the limited lifetime warranty. Their customer service folks told us that they can still make doors, drawers and components to meet their warranty obligations, although they will only provide them under warranty (i.e. if your son put a baseball bat through your cabinet door, you are out of luck.) The new Mill's Pride Kitchens will not honor the old warranties.
