Somersby Cabinetry

Somersby is one of the 13 brands owned by the MasterBrand Cabinet company. The Somersby line specialized in maple, alder, oak, cherry, hickory, and laminate cabinets for the kitchen, bathroom and other residential rooms.

Somersby used to market two lines of cabinets - the Quality Line and the Premier Line. However, the two lines were combined into the "Premier" line, which is what the company currently markets.

Somersby's construction features 1/2" thick cabinet sides, tops, and bottoms, and cabinet backs are 3/8" thick furniture board (plywood upgrades available). Shelves are 3/4" thick furniture board (plywood upgrade available). Drawer construction is 3/4" hardwood dovetailed with undermount self-closing drawer guides. All door styles feature 6-way adjustable hinges (self-closing door option available).

About the Company

Somersby Cabinetry operates under the ownership of MasterBrand Cabinets, Inc. MasterBrands was created in 1998 and has since acquired several more brands to become the second-largest North American cabinet company.

Somersby is part of the Environmental Stewardship Program, which certifies cabinet manufacturers for environmentally-conscious and sustainable practices. This program was created in 2006 by the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association to regulate environmental practices by cabinet-makers.

Product Warranties

Somersby cabinets are warranted for the lifetime of the original purchaser with some applicable limitations. Products will not be replaced or repaired if they have been misused, incorrectly installed, modified by the buyer, poorly cared for, or incidentally damaged by fire, flood, etc.
