"Wellborn kitchen cabinets"
My cabinets are 6 years old and the bottom cabinets are warped and peeling.Apparently they only have a one year warranty and they are ridiculously expensive to replace. I do not recommend putting Wellborn shaker style under the sink. The water catches in the grove. Perhaps a flat style would have been a better way to go. The top cabinets are okay. I must find a carpenter to replace them .I am not happy.

"Stay Away Termites"
New cabinets stay away we have termits that were brought in with the cabinets. I had and paid for a WDO inspection done by 2 companys I also had 3 pest control companys concure that the termites were in the cabinets. I reached out to wellborn for a little help on treeting the cabinets. and they pretty much told me to pound salt. the called the CEO and he never called back I was not looking for alot just help on paying for the treetment since I paid over 20k for the cabnets.

"Beware of not being able to replace a drawer front/doors"
In remodeling one if our numerous wellborn cabinets, we are told we can't order the 3 simple items directly, that we need to go through one of their dealers. Well, that's seems to be a difficult task with their dealers and have not been able to order the 2 replacement doors and 1 drawer front even with giving them all the specs! Wellborn customer service tells us to find a cabinet maker to try and have them made. Absolutely horribl

"Horrible"
The company took their time to get my cabinet orders filled. I met with the rep and he said that since the company that I went with was not a high volume company our order was pushed back. I have been going through this for a year now. Replacement doors and drawers keep coming in damaged.

These cabinets are beautiful. I am so happy with the ease and quality of the construction. They have been in for 4 years and are a dream.. We also did our walk in pantry.

"A disappointment"
100K of kitchen cabs from Wellborn. Quality seems fine- acceptable. But waiting 4 months so far for the matching dishwasher panel and company will not make and ship until someone else orders cabinets of same design and color to create entire batch at once. What???

"Kitchen cabinets"
Very poor-quality control. My installer had to order and replace 4 cabinet doors. They also had to order a skin for the side of one of the cabinets because it looked so bad. I have 4 other doors I am stuck with that are poorly sanded and very rough in spots. One of the pantries slide out shelves looked so bad my installer paid to have it replaced. I would think twice before buying any more of these cabinets from Wellborn. They seem to be made well but the stain on them was not done well.

"So disappointed"
We remodeled an older home as were told Wellborn cabinets were the way to go. Nothing has impressed me with these cabinets yet. The soft close is great but the finish is not well done and is already coming g off on some of my doors. Some of my doors are bowed and doors ding easily. Maybe the stained cabinets are better but I would never recommend painted.

"Think twice"
I purchased a complete kitchen from Wellborn and had issues with damaged cabinets from the factory. One of the cabinets was substituted for a different cabinet because Wellborn did not want to pay high tariffs for items received from china. All sales literature published in hard copy and on their website shows the cabinet I purchased, but they felt it was appropriate to substitute the cabinet with another to save the company money. I thought this was a family owned company. I'm glad they care more about their family then mine. The customer service is only there to abide the companies best interest. Not the customers, think twice before you use this company.

"Cabinet designer"
Wellborn Cabinetry has been a fantastic cabinet manufacturer to work with. They make sure to send all of their dealers to their plant to make sure they have the information needed to successfully sell their product. Their customer service is wonderful; I never have to wait more than an hour to get an answer. What my clients and I really like about Wellborn is their lead time, which is 3.5 - 4 weeks on the majority of their doors & finishes. The market I'm in is very competitive for cabinetry, and Wellborn has been able to offer a superior product at a price that can beat most of my competitors. My clients and I would recommend Wellborn cabinetry in a heartbeat!!

"Poor quality and customer support"
The quality here is disappointing. My cabinets have been in use 4 months and the paint is already peeling off. It seems like a very poor quality layer of paint. The customer service in the main office is poor. They won't provide me with enough paint to repair the problem areas. I will instmiss ad have to buy new fronts. The drawer mechanism in a kitchen drawer is also failing already. My dealer said they won't replace damaged parts, they operate with a 10% type of holdback allowance for replacing damaged items. If you exceed the 10% cost in damage, even though the damage is from the factory or your dealers installation, either you or the dealer has to pay for the replacements. I also have a cracked drawer front and very poor quality bathroom mirror. It's a shame, I thought these would be long term cabinets. We tried to buy American made.....maybe would have been better off with the cheap overseas stuff?

"Finish on white cabinet crackling"
In less than one year, paint on cabinet started crackling a lot. Rep is blaming GE built in microwave/oven, which vents from the bottom. Both boards above and below unit are crackled on the entire board. Company will not stand behind product. I don't want it replaced... just Fixed. Sand it down and apply a fresh coat of paint or send me the paint and I will fix. Terrible customer service! Don't stand behind their products.

"Not an upgrade"
The contractor told me that he uses Wellborn because they are an upgrade over standard kitchen cabinets. I haven't found that to be true. The finish stains easily and the body is very sturdy. The drawers are not very deep so we have to put things in sideways so the drawer will close. Also, the drawers can jammed very easily. So far no major problems, but it's only been about 8 months.

"General contractor/ kitchen renovations and installations"
i recently needed to install a wellborn closet system, For the installation I needed to customize a couple of pieces due to the older home floor plan. I contacted wellborn's customer service to inquire about the availability of a drill bit and template to use to remake holes for the cam locks. They were very helpful , in fact, I could not have asked for better service. they had what i needed and shipped it to me the next day so that i could have it in time for the install. the closet went together great, and the homeowner is very excited about using her new closet, which by the way is the size of a whole bedroom. steve monahan

"Wellborn Cabinets = High Quality"
Wellborn is a high quality family owned company. When buying Wellborn you are not a number you are a real person that they will take care of. A lot of clients confuse Wellborn with Wellborn Forest. 2 completely different companies. Great prices for the high quality you receive. Also deliveries are accurate and on time. I highly suggest buying Wellborn.

"Laundry"
We're very happy with the Hancock MDF cabinets we had installed in our laundry. We selected dove gray and glacier white finishes. The finish feels smooth to the touch and very durable. Most importantly, the wife is still very happy with the cabinets after a year's worth of wear and tear.

"As a dealer - I would never use them!"
I am a Kitchen Designer and I would never in a million years choose to use Wellborn for my clients. Their spec book and ordering process is atrocious! They also do not take responsibility for errors. You have to pay in to a "savings" acct of a sort and when something goes wrong, the money is pulled from their. In other words, the dealer pays for it!

"Cabinet to narrow"
I am very disappointed in these office cabinets! They are to shallow to hold hanging file folders! I had to remove label tabs!! Also had to remove rack system. Now I have expandable legal file folders, and they slouch backwards if the drawer is not full, so I can't read the labels now either, but at least the drawer closes. My upper cabinets are to narrow, so I can't put portfolio folders in there. They only hold paper (11 and 1/4"). Very, Very, Very disappointed! My sales person rented a building to sell the cabinets, and bought a whole wall of cabinets and discovered the same issue, (surprise!). He was very disappointed himself, and doesn't sell them anymore.
