"Garbage"
Extremely disappointed in the craftsmanship with these cabinets. $6000 and they were delivered broken, with hair line cracks in the frames, out of square and one particular cabinet longer than all the others. Too bad I can not post pictures of the issues we've experienced. Avoid them at all costs!

"Warped doors, dents in doors, broken doors, hinges broken"
I purchased Shenandoah cabinets from Lowes. I was told they were the same Quality as there Number 1 Cabinets but a better price. I paid a contractor to be at my home for delivery they never showed up. They had not had time to deliver the date they were Scheduled. Had to wait an additional week to get them. When they were opened there were warped doors, dents in doors, broken doors, Hinges broken. Very poor Quality. They still have not made it Right and its been a year. There customer Service people came to my house, replaced some doors, When they were received some were broken. Do not buy them!

"Not what was ordered 10 weeks ago."
I ordered the Shenandoah Breckinridge Maple Spice cabinets for a complete kitchen redo 11/11/2017. I just received the cabinets today (1/23/2018) but they are not the plywood cabinets that I ordered, they’re all particle board. They sent the wrong color, Maple white wheat. Several are broken but that could have been from shipping even though the shippers said otherwise. I was told that by Lowes that this company doesn’t use staples, only fasteners. I can’t find the first fastener except on hinges but can find plenty of staples throughout and the use what appears to be a temporary plastic clamp on the corners to hold them in place until the glue dries. I’m sending all back for a refund and will get a stock cabinet and refinish myself. Lowes stock cabinets are build better than these high priced underbuilt cabinets. I also bought all new appliances from Lowes and am having to wait 4 months for delivery. I have learned to never buy from Lowes unless you can walk out with your purchase the same day.

"Homeowner"
This was the second kitchen I redid with Shenandoah cabinets. The quality of the cabinets is great for the money. the kitchen is done and it looks great. As with any remodel, there were a few hiccups. I can't begin to tell you how great their customer service department. They are quick to respond and take care of any problem you might have. She staff is friendly, informative, and most of all they handle your request promptly. I would not hesitate to recommend Shenandoah to anyone. I couldn't be more happy!

"Terrible file cabinets"
This Shenandoah product of file cabinets for a home office is awful. The file cabinets, I bought 4 at $250 each, have No side walls or bottoms of any kind! They are just a wooden drawer front and a skinny metal rack frame to hold hanging file folders. Complete garbage! Don't buy from Lowes or Shenandoh. I listened to my salesman Robert and he said, a file cabinet is a file cabinet. But what I got was a drawer front! If something drops from the top drawer when its open, it falls to the floor. What a crap product. Lowes totally misrepresented this product to me.

"Never purchase cabinets from this or any of the sister companies"
I purchased a pantry cabinet from Lowes on July 16, 2017 to finish the kitchen for my wife. This project is still not finished as we are going on our seventh attempt because the cabinet and doors have been scratched, warped and the middle panels continue to rattle. I have had to spend several hours trying to get this rectified but have had no luck. The latest set of doors came today from the factory in Kingman Az. and guess what, warped again. Per Stan the Lowes store manager in Henderson Nevada quote" I should have taken the second set, they were good enough. Scratches and nicks are what touch up markers and crayons are for" I spent well over 10k just on cabinets from this company and I can promise if I had to do it again it would not be from them and would never recommend this company to anyone. To make it even better, you can not contact any VP or any of the higher ups, and when I asked the customer service rep (Emily) for the regional reps boss she told me she could not give out that information. This company clearly does not care about the consumer, you can not call corporate headquarters because they will not give you the phone number, and the c/s reps will tell you they understand your frustration over and over. It all nonsense and lipservice. Do not buy from this company, you will regret it.

"Shoddy cheap workmanship"
We purchased this 1930's home with the seller's realtor touting "an upgraded kitchen with high end cabinetry," which was done within 2 years of our purchase. The cabinet finish is peeling and bluckling. Some of the soft close drawers do no close. We are nothing less than astounded at the absolute poor quality - actually no quality - of these cabinets. Awful, awful, awful. We left a home with Mouser cabinetry. After 20 years, it looked almost new in a well use kitchen of a passionate and ardent cook.

"Love My Shenandoah Kitchen!"
My cabinets were installed 14 months ago and look brand new. I got Grove Honey Oak Cathedral with plywood construction. Upon delivery the glass for a door was broken and I was unhappy with 2 large doors (very dark nearly black down the middle). All were replaced very quickly. Lowes designer Mario gave great suggestions. Lowes installers were highly skilled and very nice guys. They did excellent work. I have fancy rope crown and some areas where they had to improvise with the trim and all are beautiful and perfect. Drawer tracks that were imperfect were replaced promptly. I am very happy with the quality, beauty and all the people I who worked on my kitchen.

"You get what you pay for."
Choose a glazed maple cabinet finish, excellent look. Personally installed the entire kitchen layout and was very satisfied with the final outcome. All wood cabinets seem well worth the additional cost given final product is quite solid and durable. Expect this kitchen will last and serve homeowners as long as kitchens incorporated into Great-Rooms stay in style. Any problems with fit and alignment were related to my inexperience in doing this kind of work (first time with a cabinet project this extensive). Few issues with the cabinets which seemed very square and well assembled, although there were a couple sloppily glued joints. Doing the trim work after the cabinets were all installed was the hardest part given I had no extra pieces if I messed up. I wish I would have ordered at lest one additional trim board with my original order. Final point: Yes I like Shenandoah Cabinets, and would probably go with this brand again given the great sales promotion that no other brand could come close to (40 % off) at the time. Footnote: in addition to both store and manufacture offering 10% promo-discounts, 2 free base cabinets were part of the deal, plus $4,000 more was taken off when the total package price for everything together rang-up at just over $25,000, for Kitchen, Kitchenette, Mud Room, and Two full Bathroom suites. Look for this deal each spring.

"Great experience, no problem."
I purchased these originally in 2006, and they have always worked great in the past 10+ years with no issues. We are doing a kitchen expansion and ordered more of the same style and color we already had. Order process smooth, delivery was great, everything came in perfect condition. I have nothing but good things to say about Shenandoah.

"Cabinets falling apart and coming off wall"
Had new kitchen done 13 years ago. Should have lasted me for ever. Old cabinets were 25 years old and never came apart. Ever since they have been put in had hardware problems, door problems, cabinets coming a part and almost falling off wall. Well another cabinet is coming apart and falling off wall, they said don't make that style cabinets anymore can't help me will have to redo cabinets. Really do not get these cabinets! Not happy Lowe's want stand behind them either I will never deal with lowes again either.

"I Do Not Recommend This Company"
We were notified our cabinets, for 2 bathrooms, were being delivered today. When they arrived, there were 2 cabinets missing from the order. We were never notified that any of our order was on backorder until we received the incomplete order! Now one bathroom is completely torn apart and unusable, and we have no idea when those cabinets will arrive. I sure wish I had seen these reviews before we ordered Shenandoah cabinets!

"Superb Kitchen Cabinets"
We just purchased Shenandoah McKinley kitchen cabinets in linen finish from Lowes. Absolutely love my cabinets. The quality is superb. All cabinets came without any flaws. The soft close works great. The installers were great and everything arrived exactly on time as promised. Would definitely recommend.

"Spots, difficult to clean"
We purchased approximately 10,000.00 worth of Shenandoah Breckinridge Cabinets from Lowes approximately one year ago. My issue with the cabinets is the finish. They are difficult to clean and you can literally see spots all over them. Not sure if it's because we went with a very dark cabinet or not. Light only highlights the issue. If you have the choice I suggest you keep looking. The cabinets themselves look nice until you turn your head to a certain angle and see every spot and fingerprint which are impossible to remove. Tried everything including manufactures cleaning instructions. I wish we choose another brand. Lesson learned.

"Don't Buy"
Spent $9000 on the Breckenridge in natural maple. I like the color, but that's it. The craftsmanship is so poor that my installer can't get them square of level. I am writing reviews on this brand because I would have wanted to know before I just wasted a month ordering and waiting for cabinets. We are going to do a full return on these. It is not worth the time and money that it would take to install these properly. Usually my installer would have been done in 2 days, but he spent 5 hours trying to get the upper cabinets to line up and be level! He finally took them down and said to return them. The company rep is useless, telling us our floors aren't level... How would that explain the upper wall cabinets! Anyway, please think twice or three times before you buy.

"Lousy Experience"
1. Paid premium upfront for "Plywood Option" but when installers arrived and boxes and packing was removed, found particle board parts mixed in with all plywood parts. 2. Informed Lowes - reordered the parts and of course waiting and delays. 3. Re-ordered parts arrived - and the parts were again particle board. 4. In order to avoid further frustration and delays I agreed to use what they shipped and Lowes issued $500 credit. 5. The glass panels for cabinet doors - wrong size! So again re-order wait and frustration. The project was paid in full at Lowes on 08/26/14 and 09/02/14 and still as of January 6th 2015 - Not completed. Still waiting for correct size glass panels. No more Lowes or Shenondoah cabinets ever in my life! Plus, I intend to personally inform about this experience to the entire Indian-American community of Metro Houston and help people to make informed decisions.
