"Not at all what I expected!!"
Awful! Portrayed as solid wood cabinets, but are more veneer than anything. We selected the signature cabinets in maple with a mineral finish and black glaze, based from the beautiful sample piece in the show room, for our new kitchen. When the cabinets arrived several were broken, many had huge knots in the door panels (unlike the sample piece), and the inside panels were 2" veneer strips that were of varying grains. A month after the cabinets were hung, the door panels shrunk up to a 1/4", exposing bare wood. While the company we purchased from has been wonderful, it has taken months to get the replacement cabinets (all of which have been is as bad or worse shape than the originals) AND they want us to wait 12 months before doing anything with the cabinet doors. They are toting their lifetime warranty (that does not include removal and installation) for the cabinet doors. The QC sticker has the initials BS on it. Yep, that's about sums it up! Very frustrated and dissatisfied!

"Buyer Beware! Worst Purchasing Experience Ever!"
Buyer beware! Worst consumer purchase ever!! Our builder, Kurt Dys with Diamond Built (Who has since been fired for breach of contract) Hired Kurt Raschke with Mid Continent to build and install cabinets in our new build. From the very beginning they misrepresented everything. Stated their manufacturing times at 6-8 weeks. We ordered in April 2021 and after giving us 4 different delivery dates from Sept. 1 through Dec. 1, the cabinets arrived on the 5th promised date in January 2022 (9 months later)!!! During this entire process, Kurt Raschke refused to communicate any reason or excuse for the excessive delays. Instead he either ignored our calls and emails or threatened to cancel the order. Then when the cabinets finally arrived, the nightmare continued. The installers never finished. It was a 4 day install and they only worked for 2 days. Left the island, butlers pantry and multiple other details incomplete. An entire double stack of upper cabinets in the butlers pantry was measured incorrectly and was too large to install. They neglected to prepare a knee wall to support the extra large island. They put a vanity drawer on upside down and stripped the screw head. We never received any hardware and the two sets of glass cabinets doors are missing from the order. Thank god we found a reputable company to finish the install and find work arounds for the missing items so that we can finish our house which has taken over 17 months to build so far due to our incompetent builder and this inept, grossly unprofessional, farce of a company!!

"Bad Workmanship and Attitude"
In 2018, we purchased Divinity White kitchen cabinets from Mid- Continent in Tampa. At the showroom we were provided perfect sample doors. Based on their appearance, we purchased cabinets with crown molding at the ceiling. After the cabinets were installed our nightmare began. We found about 30% of them were cracked, patchy colors, uneven paint and uneven doors and hinges. The color did not even look like the sample. When we voiced our concerns, we were told not worry this happens all the time and they will fix it. In their first attempt for repairs, Mid Continent brought more cabinets doors that didn't match the new ones. They blamed the factory. They worked on the doors and hinges. The worker left frustrated because there were so many problems and he couldn't fix them all. On the second attempt the worker had a can of paint with him. When he said he just picked up the paint from Home Depot, we refused to allow him to paint our cabinets.They came back several times and could never get it right or they weren't prepared. Each time with a bad attitude. We were able to get our salesman (Ron) to come to the house. One of the first things out of his mouth was "I am embarrassed". The workers came back a couple of more times. About 6 months after install, the crown molding literally separated from our ceiling. We thought the cabinets were going to fall. On the last visit the worker tried to fix everything but was unable to. He caulked the crown molding and said it would last " 60 years". He also told us that his boss said to tell us they will never come back as they have lost money on this job. About 3 months later the crown molding separated again. There are cabinets that are still uneven, separation, cracking and blotchy paint repairs. I called the Tampa manager (Matt Tyler) and left 2 messages and he never called back. At the end of the day, we do not know which is worse the cabinets , their workmanship or their attitude. We now refer to Mid-Continent as "Mid-Quality". We are very unhappy and would never recommend the Tampa office for anything.

"Durable, great customer support"
We had our kitchen remodeled in 2011 (9 years ago). We selected Mid-Continental because it was slightly less expensive, but still seemed like good quality. We have been very happy with the cabinets. The selection of options for the cabinets was great, the finish has been good (only significant sign of wear is around the trash can, which seems pretty common), and the hardware has been flawless until just last week. We had a hinge break, I contacted customer support, and they shipped me out a replacement free of charge within two days of contacting them. I was very impressed with the customer service, both their ability to understand exactly my issue and to resolve it so quickly. Two thumbs up from me!

"Great customer service"
We found ourselves in need of a few new doors for our bar made of Mid Continent Cabinets and the style was discontinued. However, after contacting Jerilyn Foster and her team we were blown away by her customer service. Jerilyn not only was able to find a solution to make them custom for us, they were finished in only a few weeks. Our original cabinets were made in 2002 and the new cabinets match amazing perfect. What a fantastic experience dealing with Jerilyn and Mid Continent Cabinets. Thank You so much, John & Kathy

"Wrong size, cracked, dinged, poorest quality, cancelled kitchen remodel!"
Had the owner of the store we ordered from, and we were told cabinets are coming in with green wood, cracks and dings could all be fixed! Who wants brandnew cabinets cracked and dinged before you ever use them. We've been working on this project since September! After receiving the few cabinets we had placed in our dining room and basement with wrong measurements of cabinet and ridiculous Poor quality, we canceled our kitchen, 1/2 bath, and laundry room. When you pay the kind of money we were. Done

"Quality construction and outstanding/long term customer service." My wife and I had our kitchen totally remodeled in October 1998. We shopped around for a while to find good quality kitchen cabinets. We are completely happy with our choice to purchase Mid-Continent Cabinetry and the many options they offered they arrived quickly ready to be installed. We would recommend these cabinets to anyone. But, one of the things I like about them most is their customer service. After 20 years a hinge failed on one of our Super Susan corner units. I searched at Lowes's, Home Depot, multiple hardware stores for replacement hinges to no avail. They offered to sale me new door or part that required modification of my existing doors to use their available hinges. I then contacted Mid-Continent Cabinetry by email on 13 December; they emailed me back on 14 December to inquire the type of cabinet, and which hinge had failed. I replied back the same day. They wrote back and asked for my mailing address and said they had the replacement hinge and would send them. On 18 December, I received 2 sets of hinges at no cost by rush mail. That what I would call; 1st rate customer service. I would purchase cabinets from Mid-Continent Cabinetry again.

"All customer service should be like this"
I have had to replace the soft close slider on one of my kitchen drawers. I contacted Mid-continent for the part. The service rep. who I contacted via email was responsive and offered a replacement part immediately. The cabinets have been very solid and maintained their beautiful appearance since we purchased our home over ten years ago. Mid-continent has been easy to work with and their customer service is something all companies should strive for.

"Worse cabinets and company ever"
Let me just start by saying this is the 3rd, full order, of Mid-Continent cabinets we have received that are totally unacceptable. I was assured by quality control manager Dennis Haley that he would personally inspect the cabinets, along with 3 other mangers. This 3rd order is horrific. I was also told that if this order came in bad, like the other shipments, I would get my money back. We are absolutely disgusted with the lack of quality or care this company gives. There is no way these cabinets were inspected. It is a disgrace to American made products. We have been without a kitchen since June 2018.

We bought our cabinets 12 years ago, hickory and I just love them! We live in a custom log home we built and if I was to build again, mid continental cabinetry would get my business. One of our sliding drawer mechanisms broke and they are sending me a new one to replace. I figured after 12 years what were the odds of one even be found. We ordered a bathroom vanity in antique white with chocolate glaze from Mid Continent. It was beautifully designed, arrived on time and fit the space perfectly. The drawers were of different sizes to fit anything we needed to store in them plus we enjoy the soft closure. The finish is well done and easily cleaned. If we need to replace or add more cabinets, we would definitely check out Mid Continent!

My wife and I are extremely happy with our choice of Midcontinent Cabinetry for our kitchen remodel. We were happy with the options that were available to us, when we visited the showroom. The cabinetry arrived very quickly to our home, and upon looking at the cabinets we were very happy with the quality. We had no issues with any of the items we ordered and have been extremely pleased with them since installation. We would and do recommend Midcontinent Cabinetry to everyone that admires our kitchen. When we are ready to remodel the bathrooms in our house we will definitely select Midcontinent again.
