"Great designer - horrible billing practices"
The cabinets are great. Turned out better than expected. The designer was great to work with and had many suggestions. Great styles and colors to choose from. However, the billing practices are horrible! We paid our GC who didn't pay Marsh. We then received a letter from an attorney and a lien was filed. All it took was a phone call to the GC and the bill was paid. It then took another two weeks to get the lien released. This could have easily been taken care of if they had contacted me. Really bad customer service.

"Scrap Material"
Half of my base cabinets came with up to 12 random horizontal holes drilled in the backs. Marsh said holes are for drawer/shelf support. This is a lie. As a retired designer I know that their spec book does not show any cabinets with holes in the backs. 26 years in the business and this us the first shady cabinet company I've done business with. Do not buy.

"Bad hardware"
When your cabinets get to be a few years old expect to replace drawer slides and hinges. All of the plastic parts in ours have aged, gotten brittle and failed plus the junk metal the door hinges are made of are failing as well. And by the way, Marsh has changed parts, doesn't stock any replacements and left us on your own to find replacements.

"Bathroom Caninets"
Our contractor Wild Wood Constructions bought marsh cabinets for our 6 bathrooms renovation project from Charleston Cabinets this year. Drawer fronts are spillting so I contacted Charleston Cabinet company. He came over to see and said because water is splashing when people use sink which is causing wood to split. Total BS! Contractor knew these cabinets will be installed in the bathroom and Charleston cabinets installed at my house. Product simply not holding up and started to split in few months. Obviously people will be using sink and water will splash some but shouldn’t cause split. Marsh Rep Mike Dickson in Myrtle Beach is awesome! He assured me that they will fix it but I am very disappointed in the product. Do Not Buy!

"Do Not Buy"
I really wanted to like these cabinets and they were recommended by our builder. Unfortunately, they are simply awful. The finish was (and is) terrible. It looks like a stain was quickly wiped on, smeared around a bit, and left. It's not that it picks up marks in the wood or varies with wood density, it really is poorly applied. It is not a gloss finish, which is fine, but it's so dull. And difficult to clean. The doors on most of the cabinets and some of drawer fronts were so flawed that the builder had to replace all of them at least once. Some of them had to be replaced a second time because the replacement piece was flawed. And the installation was amateurish. There were gaps in the crown molding, doors were uneven, one of the drawers in a bathroom vanity had 14 nails in it. The insides of the cabinets (the wood frames) are loaded with flaws as if since you wouldn't see it when the cupbard was closed they didn't take any care to finish it nicely - we're talking scratches and gouges. I could go on but bottomline: do not buy these cabinets. Somewhere on their website they describe them as "furniture quality". Bunk. Only if you buy your cabinets at a Walmart dent & scratch sale.

"Great Job!"
We are very satisfied with the workmanship and product designed and installed for us recently by Rick and his team at Watts Home Center. The entire process from idea to completion was stress-free and enjoyable. Our project was completed on time and budget just as promised. Rick was the ultimate professional... listening first and then offering insightful advice as needed. We would highly recommend the good people at Watts as a great first step in bringing your home improvement dreams to reality! The cabinets themselves are of high quality, look great, and will provide us with many years of use. Thanks again to everyone involved.

"New kitchen cabinets and quartz countertops"
In our kitchen, we added quartz counter tops, a pantry, and new cabinets. Rick Russell of Watts Home Center of LaGrange KY handled the turnkey order for us. Rick had some innovating ideas that helped us make our decisions. Price was exactly where we thought it should be. Everything clicked. Cabinets and counter tops came in on time. Installation was well done, very professional. Rick volunteered to do some extras for us in the process and we very much appreciated all his efforts in our regard. Without hesitation we would recommend Rick Russell and Watts Home Center of LaGrange KY.

"Cabinet Quality"
Terrible quality! Stain is Splotchy and in some areas it's coming off. Had to replace 9 cabinet doors because they were warped, and to make matters worse terrible installation! Obviously whomever inspected and certified our cabinets didn’t bother looking at the quality of the finished product. I would never purchase these cabinets and certainly not recommend them.

"Kitchen Remodel"
We recently remodeled our kitchen and used the Marsh Furniture brand cabinets. Marsh had all of the options and quality that made our kitchen become a reality. Our kitchen designer was "top notch" with outstanding customer service guiding us through the design and install process. From the time that the cabinets were ordered until they were installed every detail was communicated in a professional way that made the process enjoyable. We are very pleased and enjoy our new kitchen. Rick our kitchen designer and the folks at Watts Home Center were outstanding with their help and knowledge to guide us through this remodel.

The cabinets were delivered on time and installed precisely. I am very happy with the swiftness and quality of the job. We were very pleased with the excellent service we received from Rick Russell, our kitchen designer. He went above and beyond in trying to please us and always kept his word. I would highly recommend him to any one. The installer did an excellent job - even cleaned up after the job. We love our Marsh white Shaker cabinets.

"It's a Total Package"
My name is Rick Russell and I have been designing and selling kitchens made by Marsh for over 15 years. Marsh has a well built cabinet with a great finish. Some of the issues I have read, sound to be more than a problem with the product. That's why I say it's a total package, you have to have knowledge to work with any cabinet product along with having good installers. A bad installer can make the most expensive kitchen look bad.

"Buyer beware"
Buyers beware! I would give them a zero if I could. Quality of cabinets are horrible. They are basic builders grade cabinets at custom cabinets prices as confirmed by the installers employee Rocco from Staten Island. The installer which is their only seller in my area which I wish I would of known cause that is a warning just in itself and I can see why. They are thieves that just take your money and do not want to deal with quality issues that the cabinets have on installaction which is amazing since they also offer a warranty which is useless since they don't even correct issues on install problems.. There representative Harold flew in, came to my house and agreed with me on the issues. I was then sent new doors with different issues and they are refusing to do anything about it. Not to mention that when him and the representative from staten island kitchen came to my house they so nicely mentioned that they wanted to see the conditions I lived in as to transfer blame to me for the issues. And now Harold is lying and stating there were no issues to begin with and doesn't return my calls. Doors are warped, cabinets are chipped, glaze is missing just to name a few issues. That's a man of true character. So I called Marsh weeks ago and spoke to India Stewart who told me she had issues too with the cabinets that she installed in her house from her company Marsh and understood and would look into it and call me back with a resolution. It's been 4 weeks and she hasn't called back or returned my calls. I would not trust them at all. They are thieves. Like the installers employee Marcos told me you need to learn to close your eyes cause these are the problems and they do nothing to fix it. Well I'm not closing my eyes. And another instant who came told me that.they have same issues with alot of customers who complain and get nowhere. Do not buy from marsh and save yourself alot of headaches and money! I could have bought Chinese made cabinets that were better quality and half the price. Instead of correcting the problems they try and shift blame onto the buyer.

"Really Bad! Never again"
In a nutshell... These look like they are 20 years old they are 6. The stain is rubbing off on the edges and when trying to clean them well forget it stains and grease do not come off. I called customer service to complain they send a field man out and he brought a marker to fill in the rub offs really! Didnt say much about the stains on the units themselves. So sorry I didnt go with Kraftmaid. My friend got her new kitchen same time with Kraftmaid and they look new! Dont buy from these guys!

"Very Disapointed"
I have been in the kitchen design business for 11 years and I am NKBA certified. This is by far the worst company and brand I have ever worked with. The cabinets arrived with chipped paint and the construction was very poor. The very expensive mullion glass doors arrived without glass (when I enquired I was told to buy my own glass). Marsh cabinet company did nothing about the damage scratched doors and or poor construction. The rep gave us what commission he could from his own commission. If you are lucky enough the get a good batch of cabinets then of course you will write a great review, however if like us you have issues with your cabinets your will change your mind about this company, there so called customer service and the owner Ken Marsh who you will likely never hear from once he has your money.

"Update."
Marsh rep came to my house today and agreed to replace cabinets that were cracking and the panel that was discolored. He was very accommodating so I am thankful. As for the rough and uneven paint, it seems it is standard for the cabinet grade. They are "machine finished" not custom.

"Issues with denting, paint, doors, and header."
Just remodeled my kitchen and spent a small fortune. The kitchen place we used highly recommended Marsh cabinets over their Other brand made in China. I wonder what those would have looked like. The framed cabinets dent so easily-- next time (not that I want to think about next time), I will definitely go frameless... wish I knew. The paint is uneven, dusty, and grainy in so many areas especially the crevices. Try to clean over a rough surface-- yup, impossible... Always looks dirty. Areas of the cabinets look antiqued (not supposed to be) because the paint was applied so lightly. The cabinet doors are all off about a 1/16 inch so nothing lines up perfectly. The header over the cabinets is yellowing already... Not even sure what to do about this-- it has only been 3 months since the job was completed. I agree with what others have said about the shelving-- cheap laminate/ black at the seams bc it doesn't line up, plastic clips are terrible. Crown molding options are limited and light rail options were dated. The company will not talk to me directly and the kitchen specialist I used has since retired.

"Love my cabinets!"
I cannot believe all of these negative reviews on Marsh Furniture. We did a total remodel of our kitchen complete with Marsh cabinets, including an island. My husband and I are extremely satisfied. Our cabinets are a beautiful Lenin color, the drawers are soft close, all cabinet spaces are roomy, the pantry is extra deep with slide out sturdy shelving, and the island is designed with spacious cabinets and deep drawers. Finally, they put beautiful crown molding along the top of all cabinets and trim around the bottom perimeter. Anyone who comes into my home raves over the beauty and functionality of my Marsh cabinets!

"Dealer for Marsh Cabinets for 15 years."
I have read the negative reviews and they don't make sense. I have a hard time believing that someone would call Marsh and their call would not be returned. Marsh has been in business for over 100 years, they must be doing something right. When potential customers read this information it hurts my sales as I am a dealer. If Marsh was so bad, why would I have an A+ rating with the BBB for 12 years and all I sell are March cabinets. If you have a door or cabinet that looks off for any reason, such as blemished or knotty, Marsh will send a replacement without blaming anyone. Trust me on this, Marsh is as good as any mid range cabinet on the market. I have been selling cabinets for 37 years.
