"Horribly Disappointed"
I paid a quality price for CrapMade cabinets. $13K of disappointment. All my savings, I will never be able to do this again. We gutted my kitchen and totally rebuilt it using Kraftmaid cabinets because I thought they were a premium quality source. Every piece that was stamped with Kraftmaid was perfect. All the other pieces (a lot of pieces) were poorly constructed and poor materials as well as damage. Damage was not made by the shippers. The boxes were undamaged. I do not know if Kraftmaid outsources their business, but they need to be aware that this is affecting Consumer Confidence. I notified Home Depot and they communicated my disappointment to Kraftmaid which never bothered to follow up with me.

"My Kraftmaid cabinets have been nothing but problems."
This Cabinet Install from lowes is going on 7 Months now. And not finish in site. The shipped half of the cabinets with out doors, and now they cant match the colors. What a POS they are. I wouldn't piss on this company if it were on fire. They cost more than custom made cabinets, so please, go buy custom made quality cabinets and be happy in the end. Or, spend just as much and be miserable.

"Nightmare experience!!"
We just opened a brand new kitchen and Bath Gallery in 2017. We brought the KraftMaid Vantage line into our gallery because we had KraftMaid cabinets installed in our home in 2007 and love them. They were a great quality and have lasted over the years so we felt this was a good line to bring into our gallery. I made the mistake of not looking at the current reviews on the web, google, Facebook etc. We ordered our first two kitchens for clients in January of this year (2019). After 4-5 weeks we received the cabinets. When we opened the orders both orders had 8-9 cabinets with chips, cracks in seams, glaze sloppily applied across doors and in one kitchen the doors were too small and therefore leaving a large gap between the doors. We immediately took the steps to re order the damaged cabinets. We finished the kitchen remodel for our first clients before the new doors even came in. Our clients had to wait 2 months for the new doors to come in because our rep told us it had to go through Quality Control to ensure the same issues did not occur. The manager also called our client and told her that they were going to reimburse us for the labor we had to pay to the contractor to go out a second time and reinstall the doors. This did not happen. Once the replacements arrived today on 5/7/2019 we received 6 that were damaged with cracks in the doors chipped paint etc. So the quality control that we waited 2 months for obviously isn't much of a quality control sounds more like KraftMaid can't deliver what they promise or advertise! So now we are left back at square one trying to figure out how to explain to our poor client that their cabinets are again damaged. I have asked to speak with our rep's manager, I have even called him twice and left messages and he has yet to return my phone call or even take the time to email us to explain how KraftMaid is going to make this right. On the second kitchen that we ordered and also had to order replacements for damaged doors and faceframes, these cabinets arrived and surprise surprise 6 of these came in damaged AGAIN and the doors that were made to small the first time were again made the same exact size leaving a gap in the middle. At this point this situation has become a never ending nightmare. We will no longer sell this line because it is obvious why they are having all of these bad review written. KraftMaid has gone down hill over the years since we first installed them in our home. They don't seem to care that these reviews are written because they keep on pumping out bad quality and can't seem to get it under control. If anyone is looking for cabinets do not invest in Kraftmaid, it is not worth the headache of trying to fight with the company because I have yet to talk with anyone who is able to fix the problem or seems to even care that the quality is coming out so poor. I have tried to attach pictures to this message of the poor quality we received but for some reason it is not allowing. If you are looking for a good quality cabinet that is semi custom and has great customer service, try Starmark and save yourself the headache!

"Disappointed"
Our $11,000 cabinet order arrived with two damaged doors which required replacement. Unfortunately the two replacement doors will also need to be replaced. One of the replacements was the wrong color, the other was chipped. In addition one of the cabinets has a cracked face frame which Kraftmaid refuses to accept responsibility for, as we did not identify damage prior to installation.

"Poor quality control"
I had to send most of my kitchen cabinets back for replacement because of flaws, mostly in the finish and wood, maybe some sloppy hardware. Fortunately, Home Depot took them all back and replaced them to my satisfaction. The manufacturer is foolish to value speed of production over quality. Nobody made any money on my kitchen! Plus the delays cost me time and money.

"Run people! You do not want these cabinets!"
There is zero quality control. Mine came in with 31 out of 38 defective doors. To make matters much worse, Kraftmaid does not stand behind the crappy quality and they bring new meaning to the word ignored! The Kraftmaid rep for Lowe's, Angie Harrison, is a joke and needs to be fired. My problems with my kitchen remodel have been going on since October 2018 and is still not resolved. (April 7, 2019) Don't get sucked in by their huge discounts. The old phrase, "You get what you pay for!" is so true. These cabinets are such trash.

"Total garbage"
Ordered 3 bathroom base cabinets and one over the counter linen cabinet. It took 5 weeks for delivery. The following day I had my cabinet guy to install them. He started with cutting the boxes and getting the cabinets out. I could not believe my eyes when I saw the conditions of the cabinets. 3 cabinets where broken beyond repairs. Had to pay the guy for his 1/2-day work (he did not work since could not use the cabinets). called the place where I bought them from and was told wait another 4 weeks for the replacement. I tried to return them, however, was told I could not! Kraftmaid products are garbage. I can not believe I ordered them despite of all the terrible reviews. garbage, garbage, garbage

"Look elsewhere"
Don't buy Kraftmaid cabinets. I bought $18K worth of cabinets and here are the reasons: 1) 2 Cabinets came damaged in shipping. I blame this more on their packaging than the shipping company. The cabinets that were damaged had large heavy drawers that should have been removed and put in a separate box. They replaced 1 cabinet for free but I had to wait an additional 3 weeks. They sent me a repair kit for the other cabinet. 2) They Sent the wrong cabinet doors. Still waiting after 3+ months for the correct cabinet doors 3) The crown molding trim they sent is warped and the finish is cracking in places 4) I had a run of cabinets greater than 8 feet and they only sent me 8 ft crown molding pieces. Needed to order a 10 ft piece to eliminate a seam. This may have been my designer fault. 5) Some of my doors do not align. They provide screw points for the hinges but there are alignment issues for door bottoms and tops. I have adjusted doors to their max positions. I may end up drilling new hinge mount holes on the cabinet frame. 6) This may have been my home depot designers fault but they sent me the wrong size over the fridge cabinet twice. I ended up having to add a 3 inch spacer to make up the difference where I probably should have waited for the right size cabinet (waited for the 3rd time) Basically you are paying a lot of money for a poor product with poor execution. I am the home owner doing the work myself. If I were a professional maybe they would have treated me different. If they treat professional the same, how could they ever complete a job on time?

"The Cheapest Cabinets and They Dont Stand Behind Guarantee"
Our cabinets are literally melting next to our induction cooktop and they have not come to replace. The rep came here with the horrid installer that the builder required us to use. Nothing has been done to replace the cabinets. They sent someone to repair who said they are unrepairable and need replacing. Disgusting

"Pealing Cracking Finish"
First let me say I have used Kraftmaid Cabinetry in the past with stellar results. Having said that, the recent purchase of a Vanity Linen cabinet has turned out to be very disappointing. Not even a year old and the paint is pealing and cracking on it. Even more disappointing is Kraftmaids customer support. They told me "It has been determined that the issues you are experiencing are due to normal wear & tear" Do yourself a favor: Steer Clear

"Overall good, but..."
Deveron in dove white. Generally good: construction seems quite solid, hardware very good. However, Do not buy their toekick panels, they are complete garbage. It's just thin MDF that will not withstand the first tap of a shoe, and the first time you mop they'll soak up the water and warp and bubble up. It's really outrageous that Kraftmaid would foist such utter garbage on their customers--there's literally no way these won't go bad on you in a matter of weeks. Disgraceful. Just have your contractor construct toekicks out of 1x__, of course then you have to buy the paint from Kraftmaid in order for it to match. Dumb.

"Good cabinets but poor delivery"
Fortunately our kitchen rehab contractor had to deal with KitchenMaid people but they failed to deliver 2 cabinets the right size making for a 4 week delay, then they forgot 2 cabinet doors making for another 2 week delay. There is something wrong with this company's delivery system and the orders they have to fulfill. On the other hand the cabinets are fine, but mostly because our contractor knew what he was doing putting it all together.

"Horrible, Horrible, Horrible"
Cabinets were delivered with several areas of damage that clearly occurred during production as well as a significant amount of shipping damage. Kraftmaid did not provide an acceptable or timely resolution plan. The store I purchased them through ultimately had to step-in. My two-month kitchen project has turned into a four and a half month to five month project - with no kitchen - because Kraftmaid was not able to provide a quality product. Save yourself significant headache and buy something else. I understand that Kraftmaid was once an independent with a strong reputation for quality at a reasonable price - that is why I finally decided to purchase them. At some point, Kraftmaid was purchased by Masco and is now part of a large corporation. The Kraftmaid of today does not reserve the reputation the Kraftmaid of many years ago earned. Could not have been a more disappointing nightmare of an experience. Garbage.

"Terrible quality control"
Irrespective of the fact our Lowe's KD agent ordered a distressed finish we didn't want, the quality control is just awful. Doors a drawers dont match up and cane be adjusted. "Repairs" to upgraded furniture grade sides look like a 3 year old scribbled on them, sloppy wood dough, opened knots you can see all the way through. After 10 weeks it all has to go back. Not replacing 50 + fronts. So, so disappointed.

"Awful cabinets, more awful customer service"
Ordered new cabinets for my newly being built home, the cabinets were 1 week later than the date on the invoices, 1 vanity case was water damaged. and each of the cabinet joints were showing light. was told this will straighten out in 60 days with house conditioning or will get replaced. 60 days later most were the same or worse, the rep came to look at it and is was willing to replace 6 of the 14 doors, although the others were as bad too! Never again! if you want your new cabinets to look like nice, order at your own risk.

"Kitchen disaster"
I am retired and was trying to build my daughter her dream kitchen, before giving her my house. But, that dream has turned into a nightmare because the order got screwed up by the condescending customer service people at Lowes, then by KraftMaid; who shipped us the wrong pieces. We had three walls of cabinetwork to install. The installers got into the installation, only to discover that what we had wasn't going to work out. The refrigerator was going to end up sitting in the middle of a door (!) because KraftMaid just shipped stock cabinets to us. They threw up their hands and left us to complete the project, ourselves. When we went back to Lowes, to try and straighten out the problem; we were now dealing with different condescending service "advisors" who could have cared less if we ever got our problem fixed. The problem, now, is; we're stuck with having to deal with Lowes in order to complete the project. But, we're going to have to pull almost half the pieces of cabinetwork, that we've already paid for, out; and pay more money to replace them with the right stuff that should have been ordered.

"There is no service"
Ordered a two vanity bases with a granite top for a bathroom December 16 2017 from Lowe's. The top was purchased with back and right splashes. The right side splash was not in the box. I noted it to Lowe's who said it was in there but when I checked a gain, returned to the store they got on the phone to Kraftmaid and complained. .. Nothing happened. No Part. I waited over a month. I returned to the store in the spring of 2018 for a second time. We did the same thing. I was standing there through the call process of Lowe's salesperson talking to Kraftmaid managers, nothing sent. Yes... a third time, July 2018 same as above calls were made for an 1 ½ hours drilling into Kraftmaid managers and accountants showing I ordered the part. No side splash as of Sept 8. No letter of acknowledgement of a problem. Lowe’s sales have done everything I have asked. They made the calls with me right there. But Kraftmaid, clearly has management in place who don't care. I paid for a side splash, they didn’t send it. I can't match this granite it anywhere else. Order received Jan 18 and not complete Sept 18. If you are thinking of purchasing from this company - RUN. Run while you can!

"Worst quality ever. Stay away from Kraftmaid"
I purchased $16,000 in kitchen cabinets. They were delivered more than a week later than stated at time of purchase. Upon receipt of the cabinets, several were damaged. The damage did not occur in transit, as it was obvious Kraftmaid simply painted over all of the damage. Although they were willing replace 7 cabinets and an island panel, the project was delayed another 7 weeks. I would never recommend Home Depot or Kraftmaid.
