"Poor Hinges"
My daughter bought a very fine home which included Kitchen Craft cabinets. The cabinet hinges are starting to fail. The spring hinges are not closing properly. The cabinet doors will not remain close. I have tried to contact Kitchen Craft support through their website (contact us) and they refuse to respond to my concerns. Are they out of business?

"Terrible Finish Work on Kitchen Craft Cabinets"
We have had endless issues with our Kitchen Craft cabinet finishes. Straight from the factory our white Lexington cabinets showed up with blue glue on the outside and inside of the cabinet boxes, black marks in the paint, scratches in the doors, dirt painted into the doors, gouges in the finish, warped doors, split doors and more. In a few cases, we asked for replacement doors and the replacements came in looking even worse than the original. This happened for one door four times! We are very sad we chose kitchen craft - we expected better quality. In addition, I have written to their customer service twice, with no response.

"Avoid this company"
I have had my new cabinets since August so 6 months and they are chipped, scratched, and falling off the hinges. My dealer got a kitchen craft representative to visit my home and take pictures but he decided that they would not warranty "normal wear and tear". If you can't use a cabinet without it falling apart than that is bad design not normal wear and tear. Had they told me that these look great in the show room but you can't actually use them of course I would have bought something else. Stand behind your products Kitchen Craft! Don't you care at all about customer satisfaction? I'm telling the world not to buy Kitchen Craft products.

"Poor Customer Service and quality control"
We ordered cabinets in August. The cabinets are beautiful solid wood doors and cabinets with a deep espresso finish. The biggest challenge with Kitchen Craft is they hide behind the internet and defer you back to your local dealer. If you send an online inquiry about the cabinets, you have to check a box that states that you will accept your dealer to follow up with you. We don't want to talk to our dealer. There are inconsistencies with some of the depths of our cabinet shelving that make little sense and negatively impact the amount of surface storage space because the depth of the shelves and pull out drawers are significant smaller than the actual cabinet box size. Because our cabinets are custom one would expect the shelves would match and be custom as well. Some of the shelves look like they simply took a "standard stock" shelf that was close enough in depth and put it in there. In our case, our order not only has the shelving issue above, but our dealer failed to replicate our existing kitchen as asked resulting in some of the wall cabinet depths being incorrect and he will not accept any ownership or fault. So we are stuck with an up charge of 2k to replace the cabinets on our walls with the correct ones. Not an issue per say of Kitchen Craft but beware of the dealer. Because Kitchen Craft pushes you back to the dealer there is no one to side step to and try to course correct on your own when your dealer is being a putz and is holding you hostage to pay to play.

"Arrived damaged twice"
Do not order from this company. Kitchen cabinet doors arrived damaged. When reordered, the two week delivery time was now 10 weeks. Reordered doors arrived damaged again. No customer service! Quality dubious.

"Not the best design"
The cabinets look ok but the hinge design is a flawed design. The manufacturer pre-drills holes for the screws which are then anchored in by expanding pieces of plastic once the screws are tightened but they will eventually (over a relatively short period of time compared to traditional wood screws) slip out. This wouldn't be so bad if you could repair them but they only sell one size of anchor at national hardware chains where I shopped so once the pre-drill hole expands from the original fitting after very little use, you are out of luck.

"Feel Like We Were Taken"
We purchased our Kitchen Craft Cabinets in 2003 for our fully remodeled home,(installing the cabinets in our kitchen & master bathroom) by 2008 they were totally coming apart, blistered & peeling, a complete disaster. We finally got a sales rep to see our failed cabinets, for warranty help...instead we received a quote to purchase new doors, drawers, etc. for another $1,400.00...after spending over $10,000 on the worst purchase of our lives.

"Not happy with product"
We purchased our cherry cabinets when we built our home 14 years ago. We loved the way they looked. However, they have not met our expectations. Several of the doors have split, the corner cabinet has actually dropped about an inch away from the top on the inside (not the wall) and the hinges are breaking so the doors do not line up. Our children were all grown when we built this house so the kitchen has not had heavy use -- just the two of us.

"Top quality and performance"
We renovated our kitchen 4 years ago and installed Kitchen Craft cabinets. We ordered them and they arrived a week late, which set back our project a little bit. But after receiving them, they were gorgeous. We ordered cherry cabinets with a dark finish and they have held up extremely well. The doors are solid wood, not veneer. The opening and closing mechanisms are heavy duty, and wonderful, with soft close drawers and pull out drawers in the cabinets. The cabinet door hinges have a couple of different screws that you can adjust to square up the doors easily for a professional look. They were more pricey than most other cabinets, but we wanted the best. We are renovators and apartment building owners and have worked with, and installed, other less expensive brands. You can definitely see the quality in Kitchen Craft. We never had to deal directly with Kitchen Craft but had a rep. From a cabinet design and install company, so everything went smoothly (except for the initial delay). If you can afford it I highly recommend them. I love my new kitchen. I do not understand at all the other unsatisfactory reviews.

"Finish is Terrible and no warranty help"
We have had our cabinets for just over 10 years (yep, just after the warranty ran out). The finish is rubbing off on all the edges. You can't get help from the company, but have to work through one of the stores that sells their cabinets. I can't get a call back from anyone. Our kitchen is pretty big, so to replace them will be very expensive. I wouldn't purchase this brand ever again. The finish looks horrible. Makes me sick to see how cruddy my kitchen looks now.

"No warranty service"
The desk drawer dovetails have separated on my Kitchencraft cabinets. The cabinets are under warranty. Repeated calls and follow up to both the company in Canada and the Kitchencraft rep for replacement have received zero response, so do not expect any warranty to be honored if you buy this brand. The company sent the wrong finish ends with the original order. I had trouble getting the finish ends delivered undamaged, they sent them 4 times before they arrived in useable condition.

"Upset with this company"
When their rep came for the site visit and measurements, she said they would work around our existing plumbing. We ordered and paid in full. We waited six weeks for the install and then when they came, they said they could NOT work with our existing plumbing and refused to begin install. Now we have unexpected delays and unespected bills. If they would have been straight with us from the start we would have no issues. The way they told us one thing before payment and another thing after was unfair.
