"Cabinets were defective from day 1- paint, seams"
I am replacing my 8 year old kitchen due to the poor quality of Kabinart products. Immediately upon receipt it was clear the cabinets were poorly constructed. Seams were visibly coming apart, paint was coming off. I did try to work with the manufacturers local rep in the beginning & even years later to no avail. I learned today when having my kitchen cabinets replaced today the root issue. My cabinets are indeed maple but just the door frame. The raised panels are MDF so I did not pay for all wood cabinets that I wanted. That is why my sales rep told me when cleaning to not use a damp cloth but a wet one. I found that very strange as I had 5 new kitchens before this and never heard such nonsense.

"Terrible quality!"
Would not recommend, do not buy! My order was delayed by 3 weeks. When received, the cabinets were damaged and missing parts. Paint overspray like a 3-year old painted them, dints, dings, and falling apart. Kabinart agreed to replace the order with a 5-week rush. At the end of the 5-week timeframe, called to check status. They had not even started on a replacement order. Managed to ruin my Thanksgiving and Christmas and I placed the cabinet order in June. Absolutely terrible customer service and you can get ahold of no one at the company to help.

"Great Value with awesome pricing"
I had looked at all the big name brand cabinet companies and when it came down to it Kabinart was the winner. One of the biggest reasons was because it was a domestic line not an imported line. I decided to go with their standard paint finish for the primary kitchen cabinets and for the island I selected a custom paint finish with a brushed glazed accent. I couldn't believe that it was only 5% more for the custom paint option, where the big name brands would've cost me 20% more for that option. I was also impressed with my 54" wide mantle hood it came in one piece where the big name brands would've came in separate pieces, and would've cost me more money for labor. You will not be disappointed with using Kabinart all wood cabinets.

The ordering process was very easy. The cabinets arrived on time, well packaged, and undamaged. Our carpenter installed the cabinets without any issues. The cabinets' doors and drawers pull out easily and return back into the cabinet silently. The cabinets' finish, inside and out, are beautiful and easily cleaned from splashes and spills. This is our second order/purchase from Kabinart. Would definitely choose Kabinart the third time around!

"Fabulous Kabinart wet bar!"
We ordered Kabinart cabinets for our basement wet bar/ galley kitchen and bathroom. Love the rich look of the cabinets with our pool table. My husband and I even installed the cabinets ourselves and were very pleased with how easy they went up. We are so pleased with the excellent value and quality! We would definitely use Kabinart again!

"Love My New Kitchen Cabinets"
The best decision I ever made was updating my 70's kitchen with Kabinart oak cabinets. I loved the creativity in using cabinets to meet all my storage needs. My designer used Kabinart cabinets to make a long dreamed of island and to create a beautiful built-in for the dining area. I also love the functionality. The lower corner cabinet works great with the rotating shelves. I'm able to get to all my spices now in the upper corner cabinet with two rotating shelves, leaving room below for additional storage. I love the "garage" to hide all the items that previously sat out on my shelves. I am pleased with the durability of the cabinets. I now have a kitchen that will last for years. Every time I walk in, I stop and smile. Yes! I love my kitchen! And I love all the compliments I get from friends.

"Kabinart Cabinet Review"
I recently purchased a Rustic Style Kitchen from Kabinart. It was a very easy transaction from beginning to end. I am extremely happy with my new kitchen, it is beautiful, and I am so happy with my purchase. The Kitchen is beautiful and has made a huge difference in my home, I would recommend Kabinart to anyone, for the affordable price and the amazing cabinets. I just wish I would of done it years ago.

"Beautiful Cabinets"
We purchased our Kabinart cabinet through our local kitchen dealer and we are completely satisfied with the way it came together. We did Arts & Crafts doors, Alabaster paint for the wall cabinets and trim and a custom color blue sink base area. From the time we made our selections to the time the cabinets were delivered was about 5 weeks which was good since we're renovating a 1940's house. We have a simple bathroom to do and plan on using Kabinart in there as well.

"Do not buy!"
Took 9 months for Kabinart to figure out how to make our cabinets properly and get them to us not broken. They sent a cabinet missing a door, a cabinet taped together with blue tape. I couldn't even tell you how many deliveries we had with damaged products. The delivery people were at our house so many times one guy asked if we sold cabinet, told him nope Kabinart just cant figure out how to make a product properly.

"Kabinart problems"
Delivery took seven weeks which I could handle if they were not sent to us with bad finish on some cabinets (rough finish), nicked up doors and drawer fronts, drawer slides very poorly mounted at rear of slide. The factory Rep. blamed it on this winters weather but now that I see these reviews I can see that they just make excuses. I have bought and installed better cabinets from Home Depot and lowes right off the shelf. Will never use this company again!

"Terrible Experience"
Kabinart has been nothing but a complete disaster. After we paid, no timeline on shipping and the sales rep has been terrible at giving any sort of response. We are really in between a rock and a hard place with as our appliances were ordered specifically for the Kabinart collection. This company only cares about taking orders and not giving any thought or care to customer service. Furthermore, our Kitchen designer who regularly purchases from Kabinart has also not been ale to get any response from the rep. or anyone else in the company. Do not order cabinets from this company. I am currently now looking for new appliances and working with my kitchen design company to cancel the order. Obviously we do not want to cancel and this is a hug inconvenience but we are left without any options. The only reason this company gets 1 star is because 0 stars isn't an option. There are lots of great companies out there, this is not one of them. Look elsewhere unless you want to be completely ripped off and walked over.

"Stay Away from this company"
We ordered cabinets through Hobo and the rep suggested we go with Kabinart, our first choice was Haas cabinets. We were told what great work this company does so we decided to take a chance. We ordered the cabinets in September, that arrived 6 weeks later, our island cabinets were the wrong color and the Hobo rep placed the wrong order so we were missing a 9 inch cabinet, we were not able to have Thanksgiving at our house since we had no kitchen, and now are looking at no Christmas since Kabinart has said they will not stop production to make us a 9 inch cabinet so we can at least have the counters and appliances put in. We are to the point where we just want to return all of there products since they obviously do not care about there customers. What should have took only 6 weeks at most, has taken now 12 plus weeks.....hopefully when we rcv the products nothing is damaged and the right color because this company doesn't believe in making things right ASAP.

"Avoid this company"
Cabinet quality very poor, delivery very slow and they do not correct obvious problems. Ordered 25 cabinets in December 2016 they arrived Feb 7th and 7 of the cabinets had obvious problems. A week later the Kabinart factory rep looked at the cabinets and told the factory that the 7 cabinets should be replaced. The replacement cabinets did not arrive until the first week of April and the had the exact same problems as the original cabinets. Three had bowed sides and the 4 corner cabinets hardware rubbed against the cabinet doors. The factory rep was not available so Kabinart was contacted directly. A week late the responded "that that is the way they make their cabinets and they are proud of their quality. I would avoid this product.

"Disappointing service"
Wished I had found this feedback site before signing my contract. Just finishing an entire kitchen redo using Kabinart white Arts and Crafts cabinets. Most of my complaints have to do with the delivery of order. Original delivery came with the wrong color cabinets, then had to wait another 6 weeks for the correct color delivery. Contractor didn't order enough trim molding for upper cabinets - waited another 4-5 weeks for additional trim to arrive. Cabinet inserts have never arrived - lazy susan, tray cabinet drawer, sliding drawers for pantry cabinets. Quality of the cabinets and the paint seems fine but now that I'm reading all of the posts below am very worried about the hinges reported below. Very frustrating when you've spent so much money for your dream kitchen. With all of the delivery issues, have never been sure if the problem originated with the contractor or the supplier - guessing the supplier is responsible for most of the problem

From start to finish. The Factory Outlet Remodel Store did a great job from measure to install. They were just installed..... The finishes are beautiful and strong hardware. I was worried about delivery, but they all came in perfect. Couldn't ask for a better product. Kabinart's 10year warranty also was very appealing.

"Kabinart Arts and Craft Kitchen cabinets"
Our contractor had Kabinart Kitchen Cabinets in their selection for their kitchen remodel. We selected the Arts and Craft style. When the cabinets came one set was damaged and had to be returned. Three overhead cabinet doors had obvious defects in the paint had had to be returned. Another defect in the sink cabinet that wasn't caught until after installation. We spent a lot of money on a kitchen remodel and in our opinion these cabinets didn't make the cut. We are very dissatisfied with the cabinets.

"Kabinart kitchen a perfect fit"
We ordered in 2011. For the money, this was a perfect fit for us. They are all wood cabinets for an affordable price. We did have an issue with the center panels showing a discoloration at a certain time of year, but they do go back. Apparently certain lines will stain the center piece before making the door but for the money we wanted to spend we love our new kitchen. My kitchen looks expensive!

"Slow to deliver, Damaged product, slow to respond!"
If you expect your cabinets to come in undamaged, if you expect a fast turnaround of the replacement cabinets, you better buy another line. Kabinart is unresponsive and has very little concern for the customer and their needs. It would appear that there is very little if any quality control of what they are delivering. I was told the cabinets would be shipped in 3-4 weeks of placing the order. It was 9 weeks later before I received the cabinets. When I did receive the cabinets 3 of the 15 cabinets ordered were damaged. It has taken at least 20 days for the replacement cabinets to be shipped and I still do not have them. It's ridiculous! I will never purchase Kabinart cabinets again.
