These cabinets are of the cheapest quality I have ever seen. Don't buy them, you'll be sorry.

"Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Cabinets..."
...Even Alexander would not put these in his house! They arrived streaked, cracked, broken, warped, unbalanced and overall poor quality. My contractor would not hang them because he said he would have to do to much work to reinforce them. The drawers did not close, the glides were filled with glue, the corner supports were 3/4 inch instead of 4 inches, everything is plastic, poor quality, do not buy these - do not waste your money == go up one or two grades, spend the money. Even the delivery man said "you'll be buying new ones in two years" Yuck!

"Cabinet Quality/Price"
People out there. Do not go in with a extremely low budget & expect high end quality. You are not comparing apples to apples with these cabinets. If you do a little stiffening up to the cabinet itself. You screw a couple together as a set the become a lot better in quality. You just can't compare this to a Merrilet cabinet or so quality dovetail draw cabinet. You can't complain if you have a Volkswagen budget and what a Cadillac. Please be real.

"Terrible Quality"
Ordered these cabinets from our local Home Depot and were told they would be delivered to the store in 2 weeks. They took 4 weeks to be delivered to our store. We were told one cabinet had a hole in the back, but we decided to have them delivered anyway (we are working under time constraints). When the cabinets were delivered every cabinet (8 out of 8) was damaged and unusable. The doors were marked up, panels were cracked, drawers were falling apart. We went to the store and were told our only recourse would be to reorder, wait another 4 weeks, and "hope" the next batch would be better. Unacceptable. Terrible workmanship, terrible quality, monumental waste of my time and money. I do not recommend anyone ever order this company's product.

"Short shelves"
The cabinets went up in our rental. They looked very nice. We had a few doors to return. Home Depot was very helpful. What we did discover after the cabinets were up is the shelves are 1/2" too short. They barely sit on the tab. If you pull them forward so they sit on the tab there is a gap at the back. We bought 1'2" square dowel and cut, sanded and nailed them to each shelf. Too much work

"Totally unhappy"
We ordered these cabinets instead of custom because it was to be a short- term fix to our problem. I understood they were not top of the line cabinets but the quality of workmanship sucks. Believe me, they are not just cheap. Many warped cabinets do not make for a good install. One day we picked up 9, all wall cabinets. 4 had to be returned they were so bad. If it was not a workmanship problem it was damaged in delivery. We were told it would be two weeks and the first order always takes the longest. Well today I walk into the store and we were told the cabinets were due in on May 12th! Really. If I am counting correctly that makes 4+ weeks. During our install of the cabinets we do have we found another warped cabinet. Another with a broke back. Never again Hampton Bay. As for Home Depot they have their own serious issues.

"Very dissapointed"
I was told when I ordered these cabinets from home depot it would take a week it took 4 weeks. The workmanship is poor many of the staples are not even connected doors and drawers hung uneven. Two of the drawer base cabinet broken in half on back. Drawer faces don't match brochure. Not upset with quality of materials used just the quality of workmanship assembly apparently no quality control by the company. So much for having been made in America. Luckily my husband can fix most the problems or I would have returned them at quite an inconvenience to us

"Kitchen Cabinets"
We are currently in the process of putting up our new cabinets that we ordered through Home Depot. We bought these Hampton Bay cabinets because we could not afford custom made ones. We already sent back 3 of them because of very poor workmanship. Staples sticking through front side of the cabinets, cracked wood, warped wood, etc, etc.... We got them back and still had to send one of them right back because glue on the front of the cabinet stripped the varnish off. Most of them had some kind of small damage to them but we made it work as we did not want to go back and forth with them as we can not do without a kitchen much longer. We waited two weeks for them to come the 1st time then had to wait another two weeks for the damaged ones that we took back and now we have to wait another two weeks for the one we took back yesterday. We realize that we did not pay as much as we would have had to for custom made ones but we still paid enough money that Hampton Bay should have delivered a better product. I am assuming that these cabinets do not get inspected before they leave the factory otherwise we would not have found the kind of damage that we did. If you do have inspectors then you better make sure they are doing their job better and not letting such poor workmanship go out the door. If I ever redo a kitchen again, I will make sure we do not order Hampton Bay cabinets again unless I find out they have improved their workmanship and inspections.

"Disappointed"
We only got these kitchen cabinets because we were on a time crunch with our contractor and did not have time for custom cabinets. First day I moved in and open a kitchen drawer, the ball bearings fell out and the drawer would not open or close. Very disappointing

"Poor workmanship"
We hadn't had the money for special order cabinets so we opted for the stock cabinets. When we got certain cabinets home there were some scratches, dings and off center hinges. When selecting cabinets be careful to look closely at the wood colors so that they match. Hampton Bay does not offer some finishing touches like, corner moldings to match, we had to go to the moldings aisle in the store and get something close to the color of the cabinets. Overall the price and quality of these cabinets does not match up, wish I would have had the money to invest in the better cabinets.

"Hampton Bay Kitchen Cabinets Review"
I've owned these Hampton Bay cabinets since my house was first built three years ago. I really like the color that I got, the finish is called "Harvest". It goes very well with the furniture I have and blends in to create a rustic look. The cabinet door hinges are also extremely sturdy. I have never had a problem with them aside from the occasional need to put on some WD40 to keep them from squeaking. I don't dislike anything about my cabinets. If I were to suggest one improvement, it would be to add handles to the doors. I like the look of them without handles, but sometimes they are hard to open (especially when your hands are full unloading dishes). I would certainly recommend a set of Hampton Bay cabinets to a friend. They are sturdy, balanced, and well made. My contractor got mine at Home Depot, he said that it was the lowest price he could find for what I wanted. I can honestly say that I would buy these again should I ever build another house.

"The cabinets that were once new and beautiful are now old and dingey"
I have had these cabinets since i moved here, that has been about five years already. I love that the color is white and the design the cabinets have and i also love that they are easy to clean, you can just wipe them down and they will clean off easily, but now i have had them for five years and a couple of them are already chipped and cracked, i know they would have lasted me longer, but i have 2 small children that are very hyper and they love to climb on everything so i know they would have lasted a lot longer if i didn't have kids or if they were older. I would like to replace them with the same exact brand and design as soon as i can afford it. I would recommended this brand to any one, and the price is very affordable, you can find this brand at Home Depot.

"Handsome and Functional Hampton Bay Cabinets"
My wife and I had these cabinets installed about a year ago, and they have held up beautifully. We have always been a fan of hard wood, and the rich dark color of the cabinets complements the burgundy paint job in our kitchen. The detailing on the cabinets is very well done. The installation was relatively painless, albeit a bit expensive. However, I think the expense was worth it. A year later our cabinets show very little wear and tear, which the dark color helps. I have had problems in the past with the hinges on cabinets weakening and breaking, but as of yet I have had no problems. I would certainly recommend this type of cabinet to anyone who is in the market, it looks great and holds up well.

"Great Quality Affordable Price"
I went to Home Depot last summer in search for affordable cabinets made by Hampton Bay because its a quality brand in my opinion. It's been eight months and my Hampton Bay Franklin Manganite Glaze cabinets still look good. They were so inexpensive, for the look and quality you get. I love the fact that they look like simply crafted wood cabinets, the only thing I don't like is they are quite tall, however i have enough space for them so its fine. I would definitely recommend these cabinets to anyone looking to remodel their kitchen at an affordable price. I actually talked my girlfriend into getting some for her remodeling project. Hampton Bay never disappoints me. I have several of their products, and these cabinets are definitely no exception.

"Hampton Bay Makes Great Products"
We had our cabinets put in six months ago and have been very happy with our purchase since. The cabinets are spacious and allow plenty of room for our things. They are made out of good materials and I think they will last a long time. They have a more sturdy feel and aren't the super flimsy wood that seems to be popping up everywhere. The knobs are also put on well and don't slide all over. Our spice rack and other pantry items fit just fine in the space given. I didn't really like having to have our spice rack on the counter so this is a plus. These were installed in our kitchen and have served us well so far. Sometimes the cabinet door doesn't want to close right and will end up reopening. This is a little annoying from time to time but if I just press a little harder on the cabinets when closing them they seem to close just fine. We've haven't had to repair anything yet and are hoping it stays that way! Overall these are beautiful cabinets and serve their purpose. They are easily cleaned and work well for my family, so I would definitely buy them again!

"I recently remodeled my kitchen with Hampton Bay Cabinetry. My contracrtor suggested the kit from Home Depot. Here is my review o"
Eight months ago we decided to update our kitchen. After hiring a highly recommended contractor in our area we began the seach for our new kitchen cabinetry. One of the most important things to ua was have ample storage and convience. We ended up choosing Hampton Bay cabinetry from Home Depot which came highly reccomended from our contractor and a girlfriend of mind also. I am very satisfied with the quality and design. Everybody who walks into the kitchen loves them also. They are simplu beautiful. My old cabinets were hard to clean but my new cabinets clean up easily and hold a ton more stuff.I finally got all the appliances off the counter and within reach in my cabinets to easily pull out as needed. The price is much more reasonable than custom cabinets. I would reccomend these cabinets highly.Home depot delivered them and the contractor seemed to have no problem with the install. At this point there is not one coplaint about my Hampton bay kitchen cabinets.I chose the huntington color and it is a very modern and rich look.

"Poor Choice"
I have owned my Hampton Bay cabinets for 5 years. I chose the white ones because I thought they would look nice in my kitchen. Since owning these I have been very unsatisfied. They get dirty extremely and you can see fingerprint smudges on them. The cabinets on the bottom have started to crack over the years on the inside. I can tell once they were installed that they are cheap. The only think I do like about these cabinets are the fact that they were inexpensive compared to others.I would not buy these again or recommend them to anyone. I would continue to shop at Home Depot which is where I bought these but next time I will do further research and probably check Consumer Reports first before I buy. I have other Hampton Bay products in my home and I have been satisfied with them.
