"Finish Peeling Off"
Cabinets doors have been peeling for several years around the edges of the drawers and doors. We keep trying to glue them but it keeps comming apart. Do not recommend Aristokraft at all. We have replaced most of the hinges as well.

"My Nantucket Dining Room Cabinets"
My Nantucket cabinets have caused me and my wife a little trouble and they aren't really worth it. We have had our cabinets a little over 2 years. The cabinets were amazing at first. They had an excellent display and nice and shiny glass. The shelves are pretty strong too. The design is great. Then they started to get worse. After month or so, whenever you went to open the cabinet, the hinges would squeak. I had to add oil about once or twice per month. That was horrible. Then after a year, one of the handles on the top broke off. I tried to fix it, but no luck. One of the pins inside snapped and it wouldent go back on. I had to get it serviced which cost $35. Ridiculous. I probably wouldent buy the Nantucket cabinets again. I woulden't recommend them to a friend. Overall, they are about a 2/5, Neutral.

"DO NOT BUY"
Very poor quality. Thin material - doors warp. Uneven stain (even on doors that were replaced) and despite being touched up by a furniture refinisher. Smudge easily and difficult to clean. Very very poor workmanship and a poor quality product. Please save yourself a huge disappointment and DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!

"white laminate cabinets"
We built our house 14 years ago and installed white laminate cabinets in the kitchen and in the bathrooms. A few years ago the finish started to peel off on the doors and little cracks started to show. The laminate has been coming unglued on atleast half of the cabinets. This should not be happening to cabinets that the time were only 10 years old. We are getting our house ready to sell and will now have to invest in fixing these cabinets with money that we don't have. I highly recommend staying away from anything Aristokraft sells. The warranty and craftsmanship on these cabinets is very poor. Kraftsmaid warranties their cabinets for life, but Aristokraft must know that their cabinets will last no longer than 5 years before defects start to appear.

"Stay away from this product, no good warranty to back up the laminate finish. Will never use again!!!!"
We re-modeled our kitchen 17 years ago. I was so excited to finally have the resources to do so. The "planner" helped me choose the Aristokraf laminate cabinets and bases; in white. They did look great. What she failed to tell me that it had a very short warranty on the finish. Little by little what appears as sliced cracks are appearing on about 1/2 half of the cabinet doors. We have no children and only spend 6 months of the year in this house .... believe me it gets NO abuse. We have accidently been responsible for one small cut on a cabinet door when putting a knife away .... the rest is product failure. It has melted and shriveled on a drawer near the oven (just the 1 out of 3).

Recently the center unit fell I cannot close the cabinet door without lifting it up as the door will scrape and chip. I am trying to find if this can be repaired.
