Apex Wine Cellars

In addition to web-based services, Apex has about 20 regional offices in the US and UK where customers can confer with consultants to develop a customized plan for their wine cellar.
Apex builds their standard cabinets from western red cedar, but can also use mahogany or premium redwood. Custom doors, racking materials and cooling systems are also commonplace.

Joe Leahy and Doug Smith founded Apex Wine Cellars and Saunas in 1984. This US-based business also has showrooms in the UK.

The customer chooses the wood, finish, racking, cooling system, and door style from a range of options. Apex then builds a cabinet to match those specifications.
