Wolf Appliances, Inc., which is now owned by the Subzero company, is the manufacturer of commercial-level residential cooking appliances. Their products include built-in ovens, gas ranges, dual fuel ranges, and cooktops. Wolf's built-in ovens are 30 or 36 inches wide and come in both single and double oven units. Their dual fuel and gas ranges measure between 30 and 60 inches. Their electric, gas and induction cooktops measure from 15 and 36 inches.
Another company produces commercial cooking appliances under the name Wolf. Their line of commercial products includes a number of ranges, griddles, convection ovens, fryers and broilers. They are distributed by Dvorson's Food Service Equipment in Sausalito, CA.
History of Wolf Appliances, Inc.
Al and Hyman Wolf created the Wolf Range company in 1934 in Los Angeles. The company manufactured a number of commercial cooking appliances for nearly seventy years. In 2000, the corporation was bought by the Sub-Zero Freezer Company and focused on production of residential cooking appliances. They now produce only residential cooking appliances, which the company describes as having capabilities similar to commercial cooking appliances.

Warranty
Wolf has two warranties for its ranges, cooktops and ovens after installation. Products have a full warranty for the first two years after purchase, which covers labor and parts for repair or replacement due to defects in workmanship or materials. The third through fifth years of a unit's lifetime are covered under a limited warranty that guarantees repair or replacement of certain parts. Labor is not covered under this warranty.
