"General Electric makes a great product"
I have owned this dish washer for 15+ years now, and if it is representative of other GE dish washers i would highly recommend this brand. Nothing has ever failed on this model, so i would say that it is extremely reliable and tough. Aesthetically it is also very pleasing, especially compared to other models of the same era. Some of my favorite features of this washer are. 1. Energy saving features, gives you lots of options. 2.Potscrubber setting is very powerful and virtually erases all crud on dirty dishes. 3.very large interior, and fantastic organizers inside. Nothing has ever broken on this unit, and it doesn't seem that it will fail anytime soon. and if it does fail i would buy the same brand again in a heart beat. If i were asked to recommend a brand to a friend i would say GE for sure (i own a lot of their appliances) I guess the only thing i really dislike about the unit is that the silverware that i put in it tends to get stuck in the tray sometimes, but it is only a minor problem!

"GE saves energy!"
I have had my GE dishwasher for over four months now. I am very satisfied with the cleaning quality and rack space. There is a removable silverware caddy which is very useful. You can take this caddy out to give you more space to wash bigger dishes or pots and pans. What I like most about this machine is the amount of money it saves me on my electric and water bills. This model is very energy efficient! My dishes come out very clean with hardly any spots. I have yet to have any issues or needed to make any repairs. I am very satisfied with this machine and would suggest it to anyone looking to save on their electric bill without compromising cleaning quality. If there is one downfall to this machine it is a bit noisier than others I have used; but not enough to complain about. Overall this machine will save you money come bill time and still gets the dirty work done.

"Don't waste your money"
I have had this dishwasher for 4 years. I purchased it new when I built my house. Frankly, there isn't much to like about this dishwasher. We got it because it was the only choice we had when we built our new house. This dishwasher is extremely noisy, it takes forever to wash the dishes and they come out dirty after one and a half hours in the washing cycle! We also had to call the repair service about 6 months after we moved in because the soap foam and some water were leaking from the door seal. It turned out the seals were bad! It is so bad, we would rather do the dishes by hand, even when there are lots of them! This is the worse dishwasher I have ever had. I would never recommend this product to anyone. Furthermore, I don't think I will ever buy a General Electric appliance again because the other GE appliances I bought are not much better! Thumbs down for GE

"11 Year Old GE DIshwasher"
I have owned my dishwasher for 11 years, and it is still going strong. It has been very reliable for most part. The only slightly disappointing thing about it is, i normally have to wash seperately pots and pans with regular dishes. For two reasons, one not enough space and the dishes and glasses if washed with pots and pans end up with residue from the pans stuck to the dishes. I have never had to have any repairs done on it, and i would buy the same brand and would recomend it to a friend in a minute. I am sure the upgraded models are most likely more energy efficient, and may hold more dishes, but i don't believe in fixing things that are not broke.

"GE Nautilus"
I have owned a GE Nautilus dishwasher for approximately 6 years. It came with the house that I currently live in and I have been satisfied. With some preparation of the dishes it cleans very well. It would be nice if I did not have to "clean" the dishes before I put them into the dishwasher to run, but if I do not, sometimes the dishes do not get completely clean or other dishes end up with food particles stuck to them. I really like that it has a hot start option so that I know when I am washing baby bottles, they are getting the hottest water continually. In all of the time that I have owned it, I have never had to have any repairs, so it has held up well over time. If I were going to buy a new dishwasher I might get another GE, but it would be bigger. I would recommend this dishwasher to a friend that doesn't have the need for big dishwasher.

"My dishwasher does a phenomenal job"
My dishwasher does an amazing job. i dont use it all the time but whenever im cramped for time i can always rely on my dishwasher to make cleanup a breeze. many times i dont even clean everything off before putting it in the dishwasher and yet everything comes out spectular, and always clean. to add to the work my dishwasher puts in it has never once given me a hard time nor has it broke down. I dont really have any dislikes about the dishwasher except i cant see whats going on inside which isnt exactly a dislike just me being my curious self. I would definitely buy the same model over again, if this one were to ever fail which im seriously doubting at this point. I would also recommend many people to buy GE products they work the first time aroudn so there isn ever any hassle or extra work to be done.

"Great GE Dishwasher"
We've had this dishwasher for a couple of months since it was given to us by a friend. Overall, this is a very good dishwasher. I like the Time Remaining feature and the ability to set a delay for it to start. It is nice to have a feature that tells us when the detergent is low and that allows us to choose what wash cycle we want to use. I don't like having the handle over the buttons, I would rather have the handle underneath the buttons and display also I would like larger silverware containers in the basket. It could use a better way to adjust the height of each of the dishwasher legs, as using the wrench to adjust it was kind of difficult. Despite the things that I dislike, the pros outweigh the cons, and I would definitely recommend this dishwasher to a friend and I would be likely to purchase another dishwasher from GE, a comparable model if possible, the next time we need a dishwasher.

"Good for money Dishwasher"
I wanted to remodel my kitchen from long and this is a replacement dishwasher from GE i purchased. The thing i like the most about this dishwasher is that it comes with is good price range plus free shipping ,it is quick to install and its energy efficient. The major issue which i am facing with this dishwasher is that the top rows are little short and anything above 5 inch does not fit in the top rack.Other than that its difficult to fit the large utensils in the lower rack and its more on the noisy side. I would like to buy same brand, may be with different model and put in more money for a better model.I recommend it to people who who wants to buy a basic dishwasher with decent washing loads.

"Looks Good, So-So Ability"
I have owned this dishwasher for 2 years. It looks wonderful with the stainless steel door and has a great sized tub that fits a lot of dishes. I also like the basket features that you can snap down or lay flat to get larger items into the tub. Unfortunately, the dishwasher is very noisy compared to my former Maytag dishwasher and uses only powdered detergent as opposed to gel tabs which clean better and make the dishes squeaky clean. Also, I had to have the drain pump replaced on it a month ago which cost me $200. Not a good sign for a fairly new dishwasher to have a major part go so quickly. I would not buy this dishwasher again, nor recommend it to a friend since there are dishwashers the same price or lower that do a better job and last longer without problems.

"Reviewing My Dishwasher"
I have owned this dishwasher for about 3 months now and I am not the first owner, I bought it second hand. I like the dishwasher in that it always seems to get the dishes clean and I have had no trouble with it so far but I have been careful to put decently clean dishes in it. I wish it had an upper level water-jet instead of just one at the bottom because that would inspire more confidence that it would do a sufficient job cleaning anything I threw at it. I also think the design, meaning where the dishes/silverware are place, could use a little more work. The silverware tray is right in the center and wastes a lot of space. Luckily I have never had to repair it yet I would still hesitate to recommend it to a friend. If I were to advise a friend I would tell them to shop around and see what else is out there because there must be something a little nicer out there.
