"The worst Refrigerator to purchase"
The Kenmore Elite Part# 75043 Counter Depth French Door made by LG was purchased new in July of 2016. After one year the Compressor stopped working. Removed and replaced under extended warranty. Now a year later it has stopped working again. Sears Repair team has told me the compressor is out again and will need replacing. This unit has not worked for 12 continuous months yet. Sears offers no help and their service group is deplorable. Each time the unit stops working it is down for 4-6 weeks. Very disappointed in the quality and service levels at Sears and LG. Never would I recommend Sears or LG moving forward. $2,800.0 down the drain.

"Broke"
I purchased my first Kenmore refrigerator with water and ice in the door in 1996 and was great. I had it 12 years before I had to replace it. I purchased another Kenmore with water and ice in door in 2009 and have only had it for 4 years and it broke already. Not only that but they don't make the part I need to replace the broken part and I have to order the whole door, that's ridiculous. Now, after only four years, I have to buy a new refrigerator because the door cost 750 dollars. That's pathetic.

"to cool or not to cool"
I BOUGHT MY REFRIGERATOR FOUR YEARS AGO, WHEN MY OLD FINALLY GAVE IT UP. IT WAS THE PERFECT SIZE FOR MY PANTRY AND IT IS ALWAYS FUN TO GET SOMETHING NEW. THE ONLY THING I DON'T LIKE, IS THAT THE FREEZER IS ON THE TOP. I COULD HAVE BOUGHT ONE WITH THE FREEZER ON THE BOTTOM, BUT IT WAS OUT OF MY PRICE RANGE. SO FAR IT HAS NOT NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED, BUT I THINK THE FIRST THING TO GO IS IT NEEDS FREON. I HAVE PURCHASED INSURANCE TO TAKE CARE OF ANYTHING THAT MIGHT GO WRONG. I BUY THE SAME BRAND EACH TIME, I LIKE SEARS APPLIANCES , AND I WOULD BE GLAD TO RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE OF MY FRIENDS OR ANYONE ELSE. WHEN YOU HAVE INSURANCE AND YOU CALL FOR REPAIR, THEY ARE PROMPT AND DO A GOOD JOB. TRY EM.

"side by side counter depth"
the doors are not even at the top of the referigator and the service people came out three times and stated it will never be flush. that I just have to live with it. this wervice is the worst i have heard of. it came this way aand is supposed to be in warranty. This has beem going on since 2-21-10 and this is 6-12-10
