"Dimensions needed"
Can anyone provide me with the dimensions (height, width, depth) of the above-referenced model range (W140-144) of Welbilt refrigerators? I am in a dispute with my landlord about replacing my fridge which broke down after 25 years. They carted it away before I could measure and are trying to replace it with a smaller model. I loved my Welbilt refrigerator.

"Built Like a Tank"
Model W555 5.8 CF refrigerator. I got this refrigerator 2nd had. A family friend had used this in college until 1984. It was sold to my parent's for $25 and I used it through 4 years of college. After that, my best friend from high school went to college (a little later in life) I loaned it to him and he used it for 3 years. I then used it until about 2 years ago as a supplemental refrigerator. Now my son is going to college and he's taking it. I've always like it because it has always been able to keep things ice cold (literally). If I want to use this whole thing as a freezer, I just turn the thermostat all the way down and it will do just that. My only complaint is the little drawer at the bottom. The "shelf" that serves as the top of the drawar isn't super strong. It bows with a gallon of milk on it. I simply just took it out though, so it was no big deal.

"What a champ"
Oh how I wish I could find this same refrigerator new. Mine is from 1994/1995 and it was such a terrific find. I got it in Ventura, CA, after searching everywhere for just the right apartment-sized fridge. This model was a perfect fit. After all these years, the rubber seals are finally getting a bit old. I need to replace the cute little ice tray unit (where the trays "dump out" when you turn the handles). I have put a few cracks in the veggie bins and taken a bit of paint off a couple areas. Too bad these fridges aren't made anymore.

"Great Refrigerator"
I have had my little Welbilt Refrigerator for 21 years. Bought it in 1990. It is only about 60" tall or so. I have it in my medical office to hold various items that need refrigeration. The compressor is just now starting to whine as it is working so hard. When the time comes, I am sure to check out a new Welbilt Refrigerator.

"repair parts"
I would never advise someone to buy Welbilt refrigerators because of parts availability.
