"Running the clock out"
We paid $2500 for this frig because the ice maker was unfixable on the old one. We still don't have ice. I'm presently waiting on repair person; this will be his 3rd service call for the broken ice maker. When I was speaking to customer service and said I wanted it replaced, I was informed they don't replace, just repair. Additionally, his notes from 2 service calls indicated the ice maker was working and an ice cube was caught. Technically there was an ice cube caught, but that wasn't the reason it wasn't working, which he Didn't know. He came up with 1 need new filter (4 months old), or inadequate water pressure (no problem with water side?) I did ask the customer service person if the plan was to send repair people till we ran out the clock. That's when she said that this time she would have him call into their tech people. Another stall tactic?

"Greatest product Ever"
I just need to comment on a small Westinghouse fridge (15 or 17") I purchased in 1974. We placed it in our basement for beverages, etc.it developed a problem with the compressor about 15 years later. I literally wacked it with a hammer and it started up again. It has been running ever since. That fridge is 46 years old and still runs perfectly 24/7. They certainly don't make them like that anymore.

"small refrigerator"
I'm really sorry, I would be happy to give your site a great review, but unfortunately I was not able to locate the model number on my Westinghouse mini refrigerator in my house. A Westinghouse badge on it front and was unable to see any kind of model number anywhere, nowhere. It is brown in color and has a tiny freezer and a really small area for cold item. I'd love to see where I could get an owners manual for it or to identify the model somewhere. Thanks in advance.

"1956 white refrigerator"
My parents bought a Westinghouse refrigerator at 2 Guys Store in Massapequa New York in 1956 right after they got married. At that time they paid $180 for the unit. This refrigerator is still up and running to this day. I even had used this refrigerator when I was renting a house. The refrigerator never had to have any repairs made to it after all of this years. My parents would never part with their little refrigerator. The refrigerator has held up as well as marriage of 55 years and both are still running great.

"1951 Westinghouse Excellant condition"
This unit is as old as me, it was made to last I got it from the original owners who purchased it new in 1951 when they married. It replaced my Amana that quit working after just seven years. My husband has now repaired the Amana so I have switched back to it. The Westinghouse is just to small for a faamily of 4. Would make a great display for the Westinghouse brand, Made to last!

"Ancient Westinghouse still works"
The apartment I rented came with nice retro almost extinct but working aqua blue refrigerator. I think it is as old as the building. I am replacing it with a frostless freezer type this year but I am curious as to when this refrigerator was built. It is the kind with the freezer section inside that you have to defrost. It's and all day project to defrost that is why I am upgrading, even though this old beauty still works. I think the landlord wants to keeep it in storage, the delivery guy of my new one thinks it should go to the Smithsonian. Model #DM9-LH style C54263 serial #U348428. Can you tell me when this was built? Curius admirer of a well built appliance.
