"Atta Boy for Franklin Chef"
Bought a damaged refrigerator at Lowes over 30 plus years ago, it has been on my back porch (open air) but roofed ever since. I have never had to replace any parts, fixed the damaged door hinge and that's all. STILL RUNS GREAT

"Chest Type Freezer"
In 1969 (there abouts) my dad worked at a farm feed store delivering feed to various farms in W.V. My husband and I have two children and at that time were small and wanted to buy a half of a beef so we were looking for a freezer. Dad said there was one on his route and he did not know how much the guy wanted for it. But he said it is used. (Do not know how old it was when we bought it) So we went with him to look at it and the guy wanted $50 for it so we took it.To this day we have moved from where we lived when it was purchased one time and it sits in our basement now! Still running, I have painted the outside and the bottom inside is starting to rust,( it is metal !) But it is still going! Never had any parts put on it! Model #CFH1840 SERIAL # 43SH1772W-HF1172 Thank you Norge!

"Franklin Wine Cooler"
I don't think it worked more than a year and then it would not keep the temperature or change it. Don't buy one.

"Outdoor Beverage Center Item 110951 from Costco"
Purchased the unit approx 36 months ago and the unit stopped cooling. Apparently over the winter the unit failed and I noticed this Spring temperatures were nearly 70 degrees F. As much as this unit cost it should have lasted longer than it did. I am now contacting Franklin Chef to see what they will do about it. I will write back and let you know how it turns out.

"Outdoor beverage cooler"
Very unhappy. paid $800 for the unit (outdoor beverage cooler--FBC36OD). one door seal failed after a little over a year. whole unit stopped cooling just short of 2 yrs. although compressor was guaranteed for 5 yrs (they sent me a new one), labor is not covered, and a repairman wants $675 to put the new compressor in. Outrageous!!
