Sanyo markets a full line of compact, under-counter, mid and full-sized refrigerators. Sanyo also offers cube refrigerators designed for in-office use that come in several colors.
Optional features include cycle and auto defrosts, platinum or stainless steel finish, crispers, ice compartments and built-in freezers. Compact models include reversible door hinges -- often a popular feature in cramped dorm rooms.
History
Sanyo produced its first refrigerator (the "Showcase") in March 1962. In 1969 Sanyo expanded its production of refrigerators for local markets. In 1997 Sanyo established Sanyo Commercial Refrigeration International Co., Ltd. which is responsible for marketing and promoting Sanyo refrigerators worldwide.
