"Outstanding Service"
Kudos to Masterbrand! I cannot say enough about the responsiveness of this organization. Not only at the cabinets that I purchased beautiful and functional, but the organization stepped in to assist me when my contractor was less than useless. Thank you to CEO Dave Banyard and Sr. Supervisor Julie Schulz for making my experience with the organization exceptional.

"90% of the cabinets delivered were damaged"
Had to replace virtually all of the cabinetry because they came in damaged and the reorder cabinets were either damaged as well or not the right size. This is my third kitchen renovation and have never experienced anything quite like this.

"Don't buy their shaker kitchen cabinets"
I bought their shaker kitchen cabinets from Lowe's not knowing the doors was made from particle wood with glued on covering which will eventually peel off and leave a horrible looking cabinet. Don't buy any master brand products. They won't honor their warranty on their defective products.

"Cabinets for Laundry Room"
We ordered cabinets from RONA for our laundry room. Had a six week delivery time on custom order. Cabinets arrived and packaging was not damaged. When my contractors arrived and unpacked the cabinets 5 or the 6 units had damage. One had structural damage. The quality of the cabinets was nothing like you see in the display at the store. This stuff is total junk Very disappointed. Stay away.

"Not high quality for a semi custom home"
My builder installed this brand in my Georgia home. Luckily I had a warranty through the builder and was able to have 7 defective doors replaced. The major problem was that they separated and opened up at the corners, the replacements door faces often were a shade off and had to be reordered. One panel center was badly blemished during MasterBrand's finishing process. I'm most disappointed in the basic design flaws that leave the user frustrated. The lower cabinets only have 1/2 shelfs and the pullout drawers aren't deep enough to store a box of zip lock lunch bags. If you're very careful to close the box cover on your roll of tin foil or plastic wrap, it will fit. If not perfectly closed, the drawer jams on the box cover. Had I known the MasterBrand quality was so disappointing, I would have further upgraded to American Woodmark. I'm anticipating having to replace my MasterBrand cabinets in 3 to 5 years where my American Woodmark all wood cabinets were nearly flawless after 10 years of family wear and tear.

"Do not buy"
Read my honest review before applying for employment or buying cabinets made in this place. To begin with, they treat all their employees as expendable, just a number and in the words of the HR manager, there are new people coming in every week, we don't need to stand by any employee, we will just replace them. The dojo trainer told my entire training class that we are just numbers to this place, they do not care about you as a person. The HR manager has proven her statement as absolutely correct. They work you to death and if you have a health issue due to it, you're gone. If you tour the plant you will see hundreds of employees who sport some kind of wrist, leg, arm supports or braces because this place has worn out their bodies and they continue to run them in the ground all in the name of a paycheck. Everything they tell you in dojo training is a lie. The safety manager will tell you they cannot cut locks off of machines, this is BS, they cut my son's lock off of his machine when they wanted to fire him, not once but twice. I blame the night supervisor, he calls the shots. My son has health issues from working his butt off for that company and when they were done ruining him for life, they fired him because even though he hated the place he would not quit out of respect for them, too bad they do not return that respect to anyone. I've heard it said they are racist, that's a fact, they are sexist and cliquish too and refuse to hire felons who have paid their debt to society but they do however hire and promote potheads who get high at break time in the parking lot. Would you want to buy cabinets from an autistic person or a pothead? Well, that is who is building those cabinets. I had 3 autistic people from my class alone. Not that they cannot lead productive careers but I really wouldn't want them building my cabinets.. I was in repairs and my trainer told me, repairs is the art of deception, not actually starting over and rebuilding. They poke clay, wax and spray a little spray paint on it and call it good. I was trained by the words, clay, spray and put it away. Those cabinets will not hold a screw and of course will not hold together and after those band-aids wear off, you will need to buy new cabinets. They have this worthless employee report line because they claim they they take bullying and mistreatment by the staff seriously, they in fact, do not. It's just a lie to make you think they care about their employees. I had the opportunity to put them to the test and I was the odd man out. Because an entire department did not admit to their wrong doing, I had to go. Best thing that could have happened. I prefer to work for a less deceptive company who doesn't lie to their employees and who does not view people as a number. It's all smoke and mirrors, weather you are a customer or employee. This location is in so much trouble they paid to move a man and his wife from Arizona to get it back into shape but that's a last ditch effort to save them from their certain demise. There is no job security at this place. Even though they offer employees a 75% discount on their products, they couldn't give me them for free. I know how they are made. Do yourself a favor, look elsewhere, their competitors are far above them for a reason.

Review:
"Feel Ripped-Off..."
Buyer Beware! Bait and Switch! We searched and searched for a solid wood (no particle board) bathroom vanity and we found one we liked at Lowe's ("Diamond" brand, "Ballantyne" series). We looked the cabinet over really well, and after determining that it was built out of solid wood and plywood, we decided to purchase not only the vanity, but a matching mirror and small storage cabinet in the same series. Spent over $900.00 for the set that day. When we got the vanity home, we opened the box, and were shocked to find the cabinet was built out of particle board. Went back to Lowe's and confirmed that both display units were built from plywood, with no particle board anywhere on the vanity. I took some pics and called the manufacturer, and voiced my extreme concern that what they displayed and what they sold were 2 entirely different products. A call today (9-16-19) from the manufacturer (Masterbrand Cabinets) confirmed that they are, in fact, not plywood, but cheap particle board (really? No kidding!) and that there was nothing they could do to make it right. Both display units were of course, damaged, so that is not an option. Now our bathroom project is on hold while we start all over again looking for a quality piece of furniture, not the normal junk found in the big box stores. I will post the same review on Lowe's &, Menard's websites and any other sites that carry this product. Zero stars!

"Corporate Cronyism"
Pretty ironic how Masterbrands spearheaded the anti-competitive effort to close off the Chinese cabinet market which does nothing but injure US consumers and raise prices! Masterbrands was at one time the largest purchaser from China but slowly starting shifting their production into Vietnam and their assembly to Mexico all the while shuttering US plants and laying off large swathes of employees. I guess they are about to get a taste of their own medicine with the new round of tariffs on goods coming from Mexico and their fat-cats friends in Washington will not be able to stop the big man in the orange office!
