"Armstrong cabinets Charlotte nc"
In house consultant very nice. Fair value. Installers put moulding on not level, not flush, and worse of all counter height not 36! Stove is not flush. Up about 1 inch. The install coordinator is sending same installers out to attempt to repair the mouldings. The height is Not being addressed and will involve Hassle and money on our part. Forget this estimate! Go to a box store if you want to save. No one other than Paul in this office has any people skills worthy of a position in such a large company. You will only face disappointment anger and tearful wife when dealing w/ Geoff or, Dominic. Love our new Home. Sad experience w/ Armstrong people in Charlotte NC.

"Cabinet"
The cabinets themselves were nice, but options and sizes are limited. The installers provided by Armstrong failed to follow instructions, failed to properly install and adjust the cabinets and were seemingly unaware of Armstrong's own installation instructions. For this reason I would consider it an unacceptable risk to do business with them again.

"Wrong color and door style, missing pieces"
I purchased Armstrong Cabinets from a local dealer. Paid 3000 dollars as deposit. After 31 calendar days and numerous phone calls, the cabinets finally arrived. The dealer sent a non-English speaking truck driver for delivery. We checked the cabinets, the color and door style were all wrong, not to mention the missing cabinets and installation pieces! You can imagine how upset/ angry I was. I called the dealer up, the first thing he did was trying to have me keep these cabinets. I asked for my money back and he said the contract was not cancellable. I waited a month for something I did not even order and he refused to give my money back. Long story short, I had to sign some document to release him from any potential liability before he sent back my check. To those who are considering Armstrong Cabinets, please think again!

"Overall Bad Experience"
We purchased top-of-the-line cherry all wood cabinets about two years ago. They were late, delivered the wrong items and were very poor quality. Some of the bottoms of the cabinets were rockered, drawers were way out of adjustment and there was even wood putty on the face of one of the doors. Our installer didn't even want to put them in. The Armstrong rep came to our house and promised to replace anything we didn't like, make all the adjustments after they were installed and give us a 10% discount. Armstrong held good to the first two promises; however, they never gave us our 10% discount even after repeated telephone calls and emails. Luckily the installer and cabinet adjuster did a great job, so the cabinets look good. Everything ended up okay, but I would never buy another Armstrong product.

"I am amazed by the impact that my new cabinets made the mood of the whole house."
I could barely believe my eyes when I stepped into my new kitchen. The mars black chairs and the solid maple wood counters contrasted sharply against the grey marble counter top. Subdued natural light from the patio drenched the town and country style scene. A tear came to my eye as I remembered what this room had once looked like, and and far it's come now. I was so proud. I was a bit afraid, initially, that the contrasting color scheme might be too loud. On the contrary, the solid maple is casual and comforting, rustic but elegant country. I can hardly believe that this was my kitchen? My only regret is that I waited so long. I think that there is nothing that gives a house more appeal than the kitchen. I certainly love mine and hope to enjoy it for many years to come but if I decide to sell my home, I could rest assured that the kitchen will increase the properties value. I believe that I deserve to be surrounded by attractive cabinets. Cabinets that that say, "home".

"warranty issues"
Our kitchen cabinets are 3 years and 3 months old we started having problems at about 2 and a half years in the finish has dulled and can not withstand the everyday use in a kitchen. These cabinets are properly cleaned usually weekly and the use of common furniture polish is put on them once to twice a month. The finish around the sink area is coming off the doors around the handles are worn and one over the stove that has a microwave under is separating. They sent a warranty rep to the house and was told there is nothing they can do about this. I was told by the rep and I quote. "Your lucky to five good years out of these cabinets" "and just have them refinished by someone else and we should get a good 5 to 10 years more out of them." End quote. I understand abuse and common nicks the use of harsh cleaners and things of this sort will not be covered. But to admit to me as a rep this is what to expect on the Armstrong product is unexceptable on many levels. The warranty on this products is 5 years on these cabinets and would expect the product to last longer by only a few more years of normal use. If you look at their warranty it does on cover any installation by a stove or sink. These are kitchen cabinets give me a break and should with stand the normal everyday use. I called the armstrong customer service and told what was said to me by this armstrong rep and was very understanding and nice to me told that what was said was wrong and a regional manager would call me the next day. It had been over a week now have not heard from them I guess I should call them back and take it to the next level. Lucky if I only get 5 years... Shame on you armstrong.... Oh by the way there solution is to send me a can of there espresso stain.

"Pretty and Sturdy Cabinets"
In May of this year, I moved into a 100 year old Victorian home that needed a lot of remodeling work. I replaced all of the cabinets in the kitchen with Armstrong cabinets. I wanted something simple but bright (the kitchen doesnt have much natural light to it). I went with the Trevant style. They are a shaker style and I love them! They are sturdy and made with beautiful maple wood. The doors are heavy and they close with a nice, solid thunk. The door frames are a bit larger than other cabinets, which is really nice. I have a semi-large dog and the cabinets even stand up to his pawing for his treats. I got them in the "Natural" color and its very light and REALLY brightens up the room. I have had them for a few months now and I like them even more now than when I got them.

" Caviar Black with Frosted Glass"
I purchased my condo back in 2005. My first work of order was to remodel the kitchen. Instead of purchasing a complete cabinet set, I decided to reface the existing cabinets with new doors. The doors were purchased through my local hardware store and were unfinished. We added our own personal touch by installing frosted glass into each cabinet door & upgrading the hardware. The glass was purchased through a local glass shop. They offer custom dimensions and the pricing is very reasonable. The turnaround time was less than a week. I primed, painted, & installed the cabinet doors myself. It was about a three week project - two layers of gray primer and two coats of Sherwin0Williams Matte Caviar Paint. Almost seven years have gone by with minimal repair. I touched up the silverware drawer twice & wash the cabinets about twice a year. If I had to do it over again, I would use a different finish with the paint (maybe eggshell or semi-gloss). Sometimes the water stains are difficult to remove, so a different finish would be a good idea. All in all, Armstrong makes excellent cabinets and I would definitely recommend them. Easy to install, customize, & keep maintained. With over 6 years of daily use, I would purchase this brand again.

"Over one month late"
We were promised a 3 week turn around and got a 8 week turn around. We were in the dark as to when the cabinets would be delivered. We had to call them to find out what was happening and they would say we would get them next week and we did this for another 5 weeks. They did not offer any compensation for not having our kitchen and we had no functional kitchen for 3 months total due to there delay.

We got the cabinets about 6 months ago and they are fanstastic! Great quality and superb craftsmanship. I would recommend these to anyone!! They were a littel expensive, but you get what you pay for.
