Wellborn Kitchen Cabinets

Wellborn Cabinet Inc has manufacturered kitchen cabinets for more than 40 years, and is the 3rd largest cabinet maker in North America. Wellborn offers stock cabinetry in a wide array of door styles and finish options. There are five lines of cabinets available: Cherry, Maple, Oak, Hickory, and a fifth line made with Thermofoil - wrapped medium density fiberboard available in several different finishes.

Wellborn Select series offers the flexibility to add options like solid wood dovetail drawers and specialty finishes, along with a five piece mitered door style. Wellborn Premier Semi-Custom series is an upgrade on the Select series. It includes solid wood drawers, frames, and raised panels. While the box is furniture board covered with vinyl, all surfaces that are exposed can be finished with real wood veneer for a custom look. Wellborn Woodcraft Series offers all of the Premier series options as well as a plywood box construction and plywood shelves.

History

Wellborn was founded in 1961 and the Wellborn family has owned and operated it ever since. The company is located in Alabama, where it has its own timber-processing mill.

Warranty

Wellborn offers a five-year limited warranty on the Select Series to the original consumer purchaser for five years from the Wellborn dealer's original date of purchase. There is a limited lifetime warranty on the Deluxe, Premier, and Woodcraft Series to the original consumer purchaser for the lifetime of the product from the Wellborn Dealer's original date of purchase. The lifetime of cabinets is expected to be 10 years.

With all other warranty terms and conditions being adhered to, warranty claims will be prorated based on the expected lifetime of the product. If a claim is filed after a product becomes obsolete, the manufacturer will replace the discontinued product with the product that is the closest equivalent to the original. Certain parts may have additional warranties. Your supplier can provide details based on the specific product.
